Canyon City - Anthony Hewer.

You wake to find yourself in an unfamiliar room. This isn't any place you've been before and it certainly isn't where you went to sleep. You're lying in a wooden box in the center of a near-bare room, a bed in one corner and bedside table with a lamp on it next to it. The lamp gives out a dim glow, only just illuminating the room. The walls are grey stone, and you can't feel any breeze to it, nor see any windows or doors.

Anthony sits up. His head hurts. He lets out a groan. As his vision comes into focus he realises this isn't where he went to bed. Startled, he tries to get up, but falls out of the wooden box onto the cold floor. He pauses for a second, and then slowly get up on his hand and knees, letting his head hang, trying to remember what had happend to him the night before. The more he thinks about it the less he can actually remember. He rises to his feet, clicks his neck, and looks around the empty room.

After taking the room in he heads over to the bed. There are some clothes on it which he puts on, a pair of black jeans, a black t-shirt, underwear and some dark military style boots. They look familiar, but he can't remeber if this is what he was actually wearing last night. He checks the pockets, but unsuprisinly there is nothing there. He then turns his attention to the bedside table. Picking up the lamp, he looks for a any clue as to why he may be in here.
