Rebecca, Thurman-
Thurman turns over an artifact in his hands, trying to gather information about its origins.
The counter attendant seems mildly perplexed at this question, as if it is one that he has never received before. He fidgets a little, but continues to smile. “All over,” he finally declares in his thick accent. “I have family there, and they send these things – very valuable. Authentic.” He hesitates. “Is there something I can find for you?”
Rebecca takes a different tactic, a more polite approach.
This the man smiles wider at, clearly feeling more comfortable with trivial formalities. “Silas N’Kwane,” he says easily. “A pleasure to meet you, ma’am. Can I help you find anything?”

The court continues to be conspicuously quiet while the group discusses plans for Jackson’s funeral. A wino stumbles across the way, but there is little other foot traffic. Any apparent residents that walk by the tenements move quickly, hurrying across the sidewalk and generally staying far and away from Ju-Ju House. [Spot checks.] As time wears on, Joe, Jack, and Sam become convinced that the wino across the way is casting his gaze an uncomfortable number of times in the group’s direction.
