Jeremy/Jackhammer-
[Sam seems to be calling the shots, so we’ll say Jackhammer went with Jeremy.]
Susan looks around helplessly as Jeremy falls into a fit. She tries to comfort him, looking around to try and see what he’s raving about – but of course, all she sees are other homeless. “Who, Jeremy?” she asks, hoping for a more rational explanation. “Where must we go?” She looks at Jackhammer Joe helplessly.
Sam, Thurman, Rebecca-
Spotting the onlookers, you generally agree to play it calm, knowing that there should be no reason for the strange men to find you suspicious. They saw Tommy, Joe, and Jeremy, but not the three of you.
As the funeral draws to a close, you part ways with Jonah, heading to a public location for lunch, somewhere that these strange men wouldn’t try anything – somewhere to wait, since no productive investigating can be done while be watched.
As instructed, Tommy follows from a distance, to keep an eye on the strangers.
As hours wear on, the car of strangers seems to lose interest in your mundane activities, and the dark car rolls away, slowly, into the grim, rainy January afternoon. It seems, for now, you have eluded suspicion.
Tommy-
You watch the watchers, taking note of their license plate number and any other details you can. After the funeral, you keep a good distance from them, noting that they continue to trail the others – but apparently have no other intentions for the time being.
Eventually, the watchers seem to lose interest in the three normal-seeming citizens, and their car slips away down the road. They would certainly be easy enough to follow, if you should want to keep doing so, or you could rejoin the others.
