{ok, it seems you want to ask around about the temple and the moathouse?}
Grimm heads to the forge. You are soon greeted by the familiar smell of burning coke and the sound of steel ringing on steel. You feel relaxed. The local smithy is run by six people, all of whom specialise in a different aspect of the metasl worker's craft. As you admire a set of farming implements, the blacksmith, a stout man named Tupper walks over and introduces himself "Greetings friend. You new here in town? Can we offer you our services? Armour and weapon repair? We also make a limited selection of blades and coats of maille among others. What brings you to Hommlet?"
Saranac heads to the temple of Pelor before sun up to join in with the daily praise of the Sun. You are welcomed in with a few devout locals. The congregation is headed by an aging cleric named Yether. After the daily rituals are complete and the rest of the towns folk file away you make your way to Yether and his acolyte Nerris. Yether smiles and takes your hand.
"Greetings stranger. It is rare we have an outsider come worship with us. Times are fair but i fear we may be staring into a time of darkness and struggle. Pray, what business to you have in Hommlet and how may we help a brother in need?"
Kaz travels to the Church of St. Cuthbert....
You enter the church to find it empty of worshippers other than the odd acolyte who bustles about tidying and house keeping. A burly man in white robes strides uo to you and introduces himself "Good day friend. I am Terjon of the Church of St Cuthbert"
You introduce yourself and offer your services to which Terjon replies "Aye, the temple is still sometimes inhabited by bandits but they dont last long in those ruins. By all means check on the temple, there has been much evil centred on that place and i doubt it will stay wholey abandoned for long. Theres also the moat house, an old staging post of the temple. It has long since fallen to ruin but Elmo still finds creatures there. Walking dead and worse....be careful if you travel that way...."
