Guess what boys and girls? It's KMans birthday today!
I know the boards don't tell you, but I promise it's true. I heard the "slacker" even took the day off, so we'll not be seeing him much today.
I'll be seeing him in a few hours for an intensive video game session, but I'll say it here anyhow.

Happy Birth(earth)day KMan.
They've got Google looking all dolled up for you today.
(I wish I was the guy who got paid for dressing google up for special occassions)
Hope you have fun.

You've been ratted out! So you're an Earth day baby, eh? Or is that one of those moving holidays? Those always confuse me.
Happy Birthday Kman! Nice blog site, by the way.

All of tembo's characters simultaneously stop whatever they're doing and kneel in reverence to the one who allows their existence.
Happy B-day, KMan.

Alright, let me see, so you're an earth person, google tells us. That means, according to old medieval medical thought, that you have a melancholic temperament because your dominant body juice is black bile, which associated color is black and taste is sour, and it is seen as dry and cold. You're associated wind direction is the west, associated age is adulthood, time of day is 9a.m. to 3p.m. and autumn is your season. You're planet would be Saturn. It would be likely that you're either a scale, scorpion or an archer, but actually you are a taurus if I'm not mistaken. I guess then that Google hasn't diagnosed your dominant element well enough, cause a Taurus is actually associated with the element air. Okay, all of this doesn't make sense, but I didn't spend hours to learn that for my previous test the other week for nothing, right? I got to put it to practice somewhere. And finally, happy birthday, Kman!

Actually, Taurus is Earth. Gemini, soon to come, is Air.
Nice Alchemy, though.
I don't know why it threw out Libra, Scorpio, and Saggitarius, though - they're Air, Water, and Fire respectively. The other two Earth signs are Virgo and Capricorn.

Thanks for the Birthday wishes everyone! I had a good day off (from everything really) and I ate so many cookies I think I'm still going to hurl. As for the astrological signs, it is generally accepted over here that Taurus is an earth symbol. I imagine it would be different in other places. I'm not sure on the bile thing, I may have gotten rid of that stuff the last time I was sick.

Hmm, not according to Galenus' system, but I guess there could be many traditions. There are many traditions, fluctuating greatly until around the middle ages where things started to get more formulaic. When talking Element-Sign combinations, I'm typically speaking in terms of Western Astrology in its most common form, and not in combination with ancient medical traditions. In Western Astrology, the sign-elements are expressed thusly: Aries - Fire Taurus - Earth Gemini - Air Cancer - Water Leo - Fire Virgo - Earth Libra - Air Scorpio - Water Saggitarius - Fire Capricorn - Earth Aquarius - Air (ironically) Pisces - Water A pattern, as you can see. Of the three signs for any given element, one is designated as Cardinal, one Fixed, and one Mutable, each embodying a different aspect of an element. ...But maybe all of that's more suited to another thread. To get back on subject, how was your birthday, K-Dawg?
