Thurman, Rebecca-Lt. Poole grunts. “Not so many leads as you’d think. People keep turning up dead – like those names I just mentioned.” He closes his notepad, frowning deeply. “That’s all I’ve got for now. I’ll need you to leave some contact information so I can reach you if something further comes up, or we find something about your friend Jeremy.” When this is taken care of, Lt. Poole gives you the all clear to leave.
From here, you can speak with the other witness, or simply leave. [I’m assuming the former, since that was Rebecca’s purpose to begin with.] The woman is sitting forlornly in the back of a police car, its door left open, sniffling and wiping her eyes. She does not look particularly well off, probably lower class, and she is clearly grieving over the shock of discovering the body – and the missing Jeremy. Could this be the Susan he often spoke of?
The woman seems too preoccupied with her anguish to notice your presence. [Ask any questions you may have of her – you can freely assume she will not hide her identity. This is indeed Susan.] Sam, Tommy-Deciding not to buy the tickets just yet, Tommy and Sam move away from the docks, knowing where they can return to. Thurman and Rebecca aren’t back just yet, but surely they won’t be much longer. [Just gotta wrap up that interview...] List of clues

Relieved that the detective and policeman aren't quite as focused on her anymore, Rebecca makes her way to the woman in the car. She tries to come across as friendly as possible and mask her anxiety as much as she can.
"Excuse me, hello," Rebecca says, leaning down a bit to look at her. "I was wondering if you happened to know Jeremy, or Joe? We both know Jeremy," she gestures to herself and Thurman, "and honestly I've been worried about why he's been missing all day long. "

"You know Jeremy?" the woman says, looking up at Rebecca with a sniffle. Perhaps under other circumstances she would question the oddity of a well-dressed man and woman knowing a poor, homeless urchin - but not now. "Oh, it was just terrible," she says, head dropping again. "He was acting so strange today, when we met, always looking over his shoulder - and that strange man with him, Joe. He was nice..." She breaks down a moment, putting her face in her hands before she can recover enough to continue.
"Jeremy saw a man. I didn't recognize him, it just looked like another homeless man. He ran after him, and Joe followed, but I couldn't keep up with them. They chased him to this alley, but by the time I got here..."
"All I saw was a pair of men shoving Jeremy into a car and driving off. And then I saw..." she looks down the alley vaguely, body quivering a little.

A car? Rebecca thinks...God, does that mean he's not even nearby anymore?
"Yes? Please tell me, I'd really like to know," Rebecca tells the woman, trying not to be pushy, though her heart feels like it could stop of its own accord any second.
