Edging forward, you all approach the drawbridge. It is clear that some repair work has been performed recently. Much of the bridge itself has been replaced with fresh timber, rather inexpertly too.
Grimm ans Saranac walk up to the bridge and eye the surrounding area. All is silent...nothing stirs but the reeds in the wind. No one seems to be at home.
Grimm, from what you can see little has been done to the stonework at all in a long time. It is a man made structure, the tool marks still evident to your eyes. It may be old and somewhat decrepid but the stonework is solid and would likely stand some abuse before falling.
