{Not much to do here except further describe where you are.}
Brushing off most of the dirt and rocks that were teleported with you during the mishap, you stand up and take a look around. The cool night breeze whips up slightly, bringing with it the overwhelming scent of wild flowers--wherever you are, it is somewhere that hasn't been blasted by the ruins of war...yet. There are no scents of gunpowder, no sting in the back of your throat from the smells of the dead, this place is pure and quiet.
[Survival Checks]
Judging from the mountains, the flowers and the stars in the sky, you would guess you're somewhere in Asia right now. North of the equator, probably to the South of the frozen wastes of Siberia and Mongolia.
Just how far can Clemente take you? Can he take you home? Even for a moment?...
You wonder just how far you're new powers will take you....
{Clemente - Let me know if you can get the guys back successfully to where you need to be.}

"sir, not sure, but I dont think we are in Germany anymore... or Europe for that matter... its too empty..." Billy is slightly frightened, but he trys to have faith in his commanding officer.

{I'll assume our Survival rolls were stellar (pun intended), and that we are very certain we are far away from Berlin.}
"Yep, Private. We aren't even in Europe," Stone confirms with Williams.
He turns his attention back to the dazed private, wishing they still had a medic.
"Private Salvadori! Are you ok? We need you to shake this off and get us back. I don't know how they did this to us, but we're a thousand miles from where we need to be. The mission is out of reach unless you get the Iron Regeants back to Berlin." And once we get there, no more portals, the Captain thinks to himself. The enemy had great power indeed, and they could not afford any more risks like this if they do get back on track.

Daniel frowns at Stone's words. He wasn't convinced this was the Germans' fault. As near as he could tell, they hadn't been spotted, so how could they be stopped? But anything is possible, he supposes--whether it was some side effect of their abilities, or some kind of attack.
Either way, they need to get back to Berlin and back on track. Their goal is in that hangar, he knows it.

[The pace of this game is killing me. >.< I enjoy the plot, but it's hard for me to get into at this speed, and with days between player posts. I'm gonna suggest that we put it to bed and free up K's time to do another game that might attract more players. Sorry Chunker. I know this is the only game you're in, but I just can't stay into it. ]

{Deek? You wanna try to teleport again?} Not really. I did the math, and I'm likely to put us into deep space before I put us back in berlin.

I know this is mostly my fault for not just pressing forth with the game regardless of player response, but in this game I found it hard to do without just assuming control of a player--something I've never been a fan of. Would everyone be alright if we did move this to the archives and replace it? Does someone else want to assume control of this particular game? As always, I'm happy to hand over any notes/storyline I've developed thus far.

i like this game, but i also understand that its progress is very slow, and it is frustrating for some (most) of us. If it must be removed let it be, but i will be saddened to see it go.

It was my favorite game...but not everyone else's, I guess - too bad.
K, shoot me an e-mail if you start up something else good.
