Small, stupid, and durable. They live in the cracks of life, in old ruins or garbage heaps, and are distantly related to dwarven kind (though dwarves would be loathe to admit this). Most can't even count. Some races use them as expendable slave labor, but mostly they're just ignored. They're an amusing curiosity, but not much fun in a long-running campaign as anything more than NPCs.

In garbage heaps? Hah! It's a great idea, though. But I see your point. I myself thought of dragonlance as kinda epic, and though that doesn't exclude garbage heaps, I don't think it should be centred on one either. I truly would've loved the good-vs-evil party idea, set in a big war (the War of the Lance thing or something) as I still think such a thing has potential, and it's been talked about a lot, but nobody dares to run one. Who knows, if you run one of those games, you'll need more players than usual. I'd take a look at it, and I'm not so sure if I can resist the temptation to join forever.

I'd need at least 8 players for a successful Good vs. Evil game. I could either run it in the War of the Lance (the bad guys would be the Dragonarmies), or in the Age of Mortals (evil has a lot of potential in the current timeline, particularly the Dark Knights--A cleric of Zeboim could accomplish a lot, Menatkhufu).
But it doesn't look like it's feasible with the current feedback. I'll give things a few more days on here.

You don't think that 6 players would make a possible Good Vs. Evil game?

You don't think that 6 players would make a possible Good Vs. Evil game? Not really. That's two parties of 3, and given the tendency of people to disappear (it always happens), I'd be in dire risk of having a 2 or even 1 person party. Four minimum. And I can't even guarantee that everybody responding 'yes' to this poll will actually play (though we've got 7 now, which is promising).

ok well do you have a rough idea of the game yet? maybe you should take another Poll, this one for whatever game ideas you have. Personally i always like to know the levels we start at, and are probably going to reach so i have an idea of what type of character would be a central figure to your stories.

Well, I can't believe I missed this .... apparently I really should check the boards more carefully when I'm skimming around. TheUdjat, you know that I'd love to be in a dragonlance game. So if you have room, I'd be all for it. I promise to post more
