[Maestro—Realistically enough time has not actually passed for Sam to go to NYC and back again, but I’m not really stressing the details. You can rejoin the game any time you like. Seriously, without you I’m down to 3 players until Rojito joins in, and I’d like to use Sam to integrate his character (basically as a late addition to the team assembled to help Elias). I can send you a PM about it, if you’re still in this thing.] Everyone-Deciding that the opportunity to track the truck at the Penhew Foundation should be taken—given that their frequent shipments are suspicious—the group hangs around to keep an eye on things. It appears that the truck is actually being loaded rather than unloaded, though it only takes on two large crates before the truck is sealed up and underway. Thurman or Grey (whoever’s driving) keeps a discreet distance from the vehicle, tailing it on its way through town. It heads to one of the seedier parts of London, down by the Limehouse docks, where it pulls into the lot of a run-down looking warehouse. Thurman and Grey both know the neighborhood as the kind of place any respectable person would not be found after dark, the kind of place full of poor foreigners and down-on-their-luck Brits. Dock workers, drunkards, criminals, and worse. It is a strange place to be receiving material from the Penhew Foundation. Stranger still, the group’s driver will note that the truck took a rather circuitous route through London, rather than going straight to the docks. Not quite as if they were trying to shake off a tail, but more out of habit and routine, as if the truck’s driver is used to making the truck’s destination seem unknown. Curious. When the truck arrives, a few grubby-looking men dutifully unload the two crates. It is difficult to get a good look at any of them from a distance, and in the daylight, a considerable distance is needed to seem inconspicuous. This would not be an ideal neighborhood after dark, at any rate. Your curiosity over what the Penhew Foundation might be shipping only grows.[/b] List of clues

[I'm definitely in; for the sake of convenience I'll arrive at Thurman's place this afternoon, game time, or whenever Rojito's character is built. Let me know what you think.]

[I'd like to think that since only a day or two has passed, perhaps Sam hasn't quite gotten to leave yet, perhaps he changes his mind and comes back to Thurman's. Just for sake of figuring out the time here.]

[My last game post in this game; probably around June 15?
Two months later, we're two days further along. Good job, Team Nyarlathotep!]

The game has had some rough patches. I think they just don't know what to do without Sam's able guidance. Perhaps Sam just went to Southampton to go pick up the new guy and bring him back.]

Grey, driving, parks his car somewhat out of view from the men unloading the crates. The Colonel wasn't stupid; the drive through this part of town and going along such an obviously abnormal route had convinced him that there was apparently something that even the reputable Penhew Foundation did not want to be uncovered. "If only I had my binoculars with me," he muttered under his breath, but indeed most of his gear was halfway across the globe. He tried to focus and see where exactly the men were taking the two crates to, though.
"We need to know what is going on here. What company is this, that these men take the crates to?" He looked to see if there were any big signs or company logo's around, but also tried to see where the crates were being carried to. If necessary, he would leave the car and search for a better, more hidden, vantage point.

"Listen, once we see where they take the crates, let's get out of here. No reason to get spotted during the day, and trust me, they aren't going to tell you anything about what they are carrying if they even know anything." Tommy says calmly, tapping his fingers on his notebook in the back of the car.
He abruptly stops, "Listen, I've come to a decision. Tonight, I'm staking out Tewfik's. If he leaves then I'm going to go in and find some answers, once and for all." He stops briefly, "I can't do this anymore, I can't keep this up without a little bit of hard evidence....anything to confirm my suspicion." He looks at the two men, eyes set - determined. "I know you might not want any part of this, but I think it needs to be done. If you want you can be willfully ignorant of it and I'll let you know if I find anything later."

Feeling the vague sense of paranoia over the shipping of goods, Thurman can't help but feel better about his suspicion as the truck weaves through town and eventually arrives at a very bad side of town. What had at first been paranoia has manifested into full blown clues that might help them out.
But how to investigate this place without getting caught, that's the question he can't get his head around. "I've never been particularly good at sneaking; so if we need more clues we'll either need to bull our way through it, or come up with a plan."
{I'm almost thinking that it would be easier to disguise ourselves in ratty clothes and come calling a little later in the day, but yet before dark. If we look pretty shabby, hopefully we won't illicit much looks. And if theyre a dock yard they might jsut be willing to hire on laborers for cheap, atleast that's a good reason to stop by. If possible DM can the crates they brought in be identified by any particular thing, words, pictures, logos, unusual style or size? If we're going in, it'll be good to know which crates to seek.}
