So it's been a few days...or a week since GenCon and I figured I'd finally upload my pictures.

Most of them speak for themselves, but a few require some explanation. I've got no time for a lengthy review of the convention, but let me say that everyone should try to attend the convention at least once in their lives. Make plans for next year people!
Stormtroopers check ID at the door...just tell them you're not the Dorks they're looking for.
TONS of miniatures and miniature scenery. Seemed like it was big this year, or maybe Spiral just got me on the kick with his pics.
Tons of people in costume, including the White Witch of Narnia, Princess Leia, Some Elven Girls and Spider Man! Woo Hoo! Personally, Peg Leg was my favorite. He was on stilts and had a whole table leg for a leg.
Celebrities like Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) and David Fausos..."Bud" from Married with Children...Yay?
Lots of stuff in honor of Gary Gygax. For instance, this six-foot wide and tall d20 had a hole in it and you're supposed to toss in some dice for ol' GG. Then, at the end of the Con, they auctioned off the dice and its contents for charity. I couldn't get Japic to hold it above his head like he was going to roll it...what a wuss.
They had a life-sized demonstration of Hero-Clix, a collectible miniature game. Basically these actors stood on large platforms and they let little kids toss huge foam dice to play the game with them. Then the actors got to act out what happened while teaching the game...very interactive. It was Spidey and Daredevil Vs. Miss Marvel and Mr. Fantastic. Spidey and Daredevil lost, Mr. Fantastic got some tail.
On a side note, I was trying to snap one of those shots where you see like fifty guys taking pics of a girls' butt cause it was happening to Miss Marvel...but I was too slow.
Lastly, my favorite...artwork. I personally went to GenCon to look for some artwork for my office and found quite a few. Japic and I met Ruth Thompson, talked about Colorado etc. It was quite cool.
In short, I had a fantastic time and will certainly go again. I love True Dungeon and would be happy to arrange a big run for the group from here that decides to go. This year we fought an animatronic Ogre, an avatar if Iuz, and so much more. Japic can hopefully fill in the details.
GET TO GENCON PEOPLE!!!
