Straight over my head!
I don't know, us Brits - inventing new words for things that already have a name! =)

Still looking for what a wicker man is. I'm guessing it's not like Burning Man here in the US, and it's probably not a scarecrow (straw man) either. Though I think Shakes is right; I too think it was a Nicholas Cage movie about an assassin. That's not such a bad thing to be on Halloween. EDIT: I went and looked and I'm thinking of Matchstick Men, about a con artist, not an assasin. I never saw The Wicker Man movie.

Wicker Man is the movie in which Nicholas Cage dresses up in a bear costume and punches some women in the face. And then punches some MORE women in the face, all while overacting to a ridiculous degree. www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6i2WRreARo

So, if Spiral goes trick or treating he's going to dress up as a bear and hit women? That sounds like more trick than treat IMO.

snigger is what an illiterate person says when they meant to say snicker. not everybody listened at school.. take Wicksy for example. I can vouch for him not listening at school because I sat next to him.. Oi! I listened at school....maybe not to the teachers but i did listen! ;D

I would regard a snigger as a dirty laugh.
Wicker man was an old English film about a guy who ends up in some backward little village. The inhgabitants end up sacrificing him to some ancient diety by burning him alive in a wicker man (a large man shaped bonfire basically). It was indeed re-made starring Nicholas Cage.

But personally, I think it's so that whenever someone asks for a Vorpal Sword I can say 'Sorry, I don't have one--but here's a Snickers snack instead." Wow. How deep did you have to dig for that one? Don't get me wrong, it's very nicely done, but who thinks of shit like that at four in the morning?! I am dead certain that I stole it from someone, I just don't remember who. It was good enough to remember, though (or bad enough--take your pick). I've been saving it for Ryngo, but it worked so well here I couldn't pass up the opportunity.

Only because you didn't listen at school. A "snicker" is a dirty laugh.
