Thurman, Tommy, William-
Staying motionless in the shadows of the warehouse, the trio watch as a half a dozen or more men shuffle into view. They are squat and ugly, but thick and solid rather than fat, with thick necks and scrunched features. They appear Asian, but it’s difficult to be sure in the dim light, and the men keep electric torches aimed away from themselves.
They seem oblivious to the three investigators hiding in the shadows, and to any tampering of the crates. With sluggish but steady motions they haul the crates and boxes onto a handtruck, one by one, and get set to haul them away. They seem like deceptively strong individuals, like one might expect from men used to hard labor and heavy lifting. With a few more jokes and comments to one another in their tongue, the men begin to move back the way they came, the shipments from the Penhew Foundation with them.
Sam, Grey-
Watching from the road, Sam and Grey watch as the group of men move into the warehouse from some other entrance. They watch for the figure in the shadows, but it makes no further movement, merely waiting, presumably for the re-emergence of the others.
Time passes. Eventually, the far side of the warehouse is abuzz with movement and activity again as the group of squat men return, laden with boxes and crates, making their jovial way back to wherever they came. They are a little more subdued now that they have what they came for.
There is no indication that the group of men encountered anything amiss within the warehouse, which is a good sign. All seems to be going well so far...
