Well folks, it's almost time. Tomorrow is the big day and I've been assed out busy getting ready for it. The bills are paid, the pre-parties have almost all been had, the tuxes are rented and guests are beginning to arrive. We got the license yesterday too. It promises to be a good day, though a bit warmer than we expected, but we're ready for it. In short, I know I keep trying to explain away my absence but it's almost over. I've got wireless at the shop now so it should help when I return from this weekend and posting should increase--at least for a few weeks until the cruise. It's been killing me that I haven't been posting regularly, I hope you all know that. I have been explaining to my fiance and friends that I feel horrible because the boards are practically dying and I don't want them too. I've made too many friends on here to just let that casually slip away. Just don't mail me any delayed blast fireballs ok? I promise, I will return. I'll get some pictures of the wedding up as soon as I get them back from the photographers and I thank you all for being so patient. The next time you see me, I'll be an honest man. ;D

Yeah, I know, how is it you guys have awesome weather and ours is frigid and windy? It's cool though, since I'll be up there tomorrow and Saturday. Wish I could hang around longer, though. Ah well, there's a cruise, too! Anyway, looking forward to going there and bearing witness to all. Taking care of final details tonight! Congratulations again, as I will tell you soon enough in person!

Congrats, Kman! As one poster who isn't able to perform his forum responsibilities to another, I hope you'll be able to give us an elaborate description of your hopefully wonderful day in the next Kman's Kronicle, if it ever comes. Have a great day!

YAY!! Congrats and have fun. Dammit, I wanted to send a present since we really couldn't make it and I was at all of your stores a few weeks ago, but I only have your old address which I'm not sure is still relevant and completely forgot to ask you Well, hopefully you'll get everything you need and won't find yourselves bogged down with toasters and "antique" frog lamps. Enjoy the big day and the honeymoon. Send lots of pictures our way, especially the ones where you're doing the chicken dance or something of equal or greater embarrassment which takes place at weddings. Oh, and send some cake. . . Congrats again. Maybe we'll be hearing news of a KMan's baby soon enough. hahahaha.

It's all over. The wedding over, guests on their way home and presents tallied (they made out like bandits).
We talked the photographer into taking a photo of KMans users at the wedding, so that will be forthcoming. First KMan need to get the pictures from them; one thing at a time I suppose. Hopefully we'll all get back on track soon.

The wedding was a blast. Shame on all of you that didn't make it! It was especially cool getting to hang out with all the Denver folks. I did get to see KMan's store, in which I found a ton of things I desperately want, but probably cannot realistically ship to myself at a good price. I did make off with a another pyramid, which has already found a happy place in my collection of Egyptian stuff. Anyway, I had a great time, and have resolved to find time for a proper vacation to Denver at some point. Thanks to all the natives for keeping me entertained and busy while I was in town

You can't ship some furniture at a reasonable price but you can ship another pyramid?

You can't ship some furniture at a reasonable price but you can ship another pyramid? ;D That's funny Vemu. I saw this pyramid and I promise that it was small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. All in all it was great to hang with Udjat too, we didn't get any gaming in, but we did show him around town a little and exposed him to some local food. Thanks for making it out and making time for us in your busy schedule.

I'll try to take a picture of it with the rest of my Egyptian Collection, and you can see how small it is. It's basically a paperweight, but I loves me some Egyptian trinkets. It goes nicely with the Bast statuette. Local food was quite good. You weren't there Saturday, Japic, but we went over to Golden and ate at... um... some pizza place I don't remember the name of. But it was tasty! So tasty I out-ate all the locals, which is just madness. Also? Very disorienting trying to remember to call everyone by their real names.

Also? Very disorienting trying to remember to call everyone by their real names. HA! I can see you trying to explain to somebody why you just called the groom 'Kman'. "Well, he runs an online PbP RPG site..." LOL!

You weren't there Saturday, Japic, but we went over to Golden and ate at... um... some pizza place I don't remember the name of. You went to Woody's Woodfired Pizza, very tasty IMO. It's a rare treat for me to go, but thankfully we ate there not two weeks ago. I'm glad you got to try it, they've got hella good pizza. Sorry I wasn't there to compete with you. I've been known to get stupid when it comes to food throwdowns. If I weren't so concerned about being miserable on the cruise, I'd offer to throw down when next we meet... but I think I'd rather not. Why ruin a good vacation by exploding one of our stomachs.

I don't usually do food throwdowns, and don't even know how I was able to eat as much as I did. Good pizza, I guess. I blame Kman for making it competitive when he kept saying 'Go big or go home' and then gave up after 4 pieces. Sucker.

Ooh, I'm jealous. i wish I could've been there, especially upon finding out that there was delicious pizza involved. Though I did eat a ton on Friday, so I guess that makes me feel better. . . or worse, depending on how you look at things.
Glad to hear that the wedding was fun and went well. There's always those scary wedding stories that you see on TV.
And yeah, now that I think about it, I guess it would be kind of tricky not to call people by their online names. I know I would, and KMan would likely screw up and call me "Shakes" everytime. But of course, that's my real name, so it wouldn't matter all that much.
Next up is the big cruise. Hopefully the weather's nice for that. And Japic's right, you're on a ship, so don't do anything which is gonna compromise you're well being and comfort level. No matter how awesome it may seem at the time.

Yeah, I was shamed when I'm throwin' down with the out-of-towners and he shows me up. I figure I've got altitude adjustment on my side, girth, a pension for pizza anyway...and still Udj whoops my ass by a complete slice and a half. Oh well. Some other time, I'll train for it so it doesn't blindside me. And Shakes, you did get an invite...all you had to do was show up. I guess you'll have to settle for pizza stories and pictures of the big cruise.
