No longer an election, but still a worthy entry in any Kman's Kronicle: DM's are very much encouraged to write small entries here summarizing the recent events and developments in their games so that new and curious people can learn about all that is taking place in the many games run here. The summaries should discuss events that took place in the games from ca. 8/1/08 to ca. 12/31/08, and can be submitted until 12/31/08.

Age of Heroes (run by Badasterysk) Players: Adelle Kincaid- ‘Mirage’ (TheUdjat), Jane (Rojito), Johnny Hope- ‘Atlas’ (Yakumo), Jake Rashart (Deekin- MIA), Francis (PiranJade- MIA)___________________________ In the first two issues of Age of Heroes, a mysterious spacecraft of unknown origin suddenly appeared in the sky and crash-landed in Liberty Park, drawing forth a handful of unsuspecting, would-be heroes. From the wreckage, a lone man staggered out and, with his dying breath, warned the heroes that a massive explosion was eminent.
After halting the impending explosion and battling strange, tentacled aliens, the heroes are approached by Mr. Dodson, who offers them a unique opportunity: protect Freedom City in the absence of the ever-busy Freedom League. The offer from the Freedom League liaison, however, is not what the heroes find unsettling.
In their attempt to neutralize the threat of the mysterious ship, and after further investigation, the heroes encountered several suspect coincidences. It is revealed that there are several circumstances that elude to the origins of the crashed vessel: a mysterious voice is heard in the minds of two heroes- warning of an impending danger; evidence of time travel- appearing to have been instigated by one of their own; unique programming and construction bearing remarkable similarities to incomplete or prototype approaches of the present; physical evidence- genetic material belonging to one of the unharmed heroes, one who later fell into a mysterious coma.
Now, having accepted Mr. Dodson’s offer, the heroes are granted unfettered access to the ship to complete their investigations into its origins. At once, the heroes are called to duty- a threat to the safety and security of Freedom City beckons- the investigation will have to wait…
What is the origin of the mysterious crashed ship? How are the heroes involved? What is the impending danger? What has called the heroes away from their investigations?
The story continues in Age of Heroes #3, coming soon!!!!!!!

Rinascimento - Run by VemuKhaham Player's taking part: Rojito (Jalyk), TheUdjat (Markus), Yakumo (Hans)
Game Summary: After surviving the terrible crash of the San Angelo airship and after escaping the Dominican monastery, freeing it from the cursed tyranny of the possessed Paolo, Markus and Jalyk travel back to Rome, bringing along with them the man they had been assigned to obtain: Alessandro Filipepi, Rome's mastermind.
Back in Rome, it appears life in the eternal city has not been idle either. While Alessandro agrees to give his services to the Empire in return for a huge salary, and while, under careful protection, he supervises the great Imperial project of building a fleet of airships, elsewhere in the city Ottoman agents begin to trigger the intricate web of espionage they have spun accross Rome and the Imperial army, in a second attempt to steal the secrets of Rome's new machines of war.
Sergeant Markus is one of the first to feel its merciless effects: his daughter kidnapped and his wife injured by the Turkish agents, they demand of him to bring Alessandro to them instead of to the Empire. One agent, however, is caught in the operation, and a desperate and vengeful Markus manages to torture out of him the information necessary to strike back.
It appears the Turks have their base in the ancient catacombs of San Paolo, and their master is Yakub Kethuda, a jewish merchant in Fiumicino. Meanwhile, through their actions, Markus and Jalyk have drawn upon them the attention of Count Ignazio Ramonet, the representative in the army of the Emperor himself. With his powerful aid and his sometimes demanding attitude, the heroes find themselves forced to assault both the catacombs and the leader of the group. Luckily they are not alone: they are granted supervision over a group of former prisoners, among whom is the loyal Hans, and together they form the Forlorn Hope - after all, that is the name of a unit of former prisoners send out on an impossible mission...
The night of their operation, a strange, robed monk approaches Hans, asking for the whereabouts of Markus and Jalyk. Is he another spy? After all, what else could he be? At any rate, he asks that Markus and Jalyk come to a small cottage near the forests outside Rome, next morning... That is, if they survive that night...
