The key is readying the wall at a certain distance, not action of moving. Which is legal, right? I see no reason myself to deny this trigger. ANYTHING can be a trigger. "Cast wall of force when dragon sneezes." "Cast wall of force when dragon uses ally spine as toothpick." So long as the ready action is used with a specific trigger that is met; the spell should go off.

Yes, Readied, but Readied to go up when dragon is within 60 feet of caster. (Max range for spell...) It would go like this... Wendell would ready his spell to go up when the dragon is 60 feet from him, 5 feet in front of his path. The dragon is actually in the process of his MOVE action, and the wall goes up. It interrupts his move action, causes him to make spot check for the wall, listen checks to hear the sorceror casting on the move (mobile spell casting to run around while casting, to throw dragon off a little on where Sorceror is standing), and even if it passes, the wall goes up, in front of the dragon. The way I see it, he still has some movement left, to try and get around/by the wall, if he spots it. Invisible wall, not moving, DC?? Either way, it interrupts his movement, and causes him to either turn in another direction, quickly, as the wall is 5 feet in front of him, or choose to Hover, which is another move action. It would cause the dragon to stop, and end its movement? The key is readying the wall at a certain distance, not action of moving. Which is legal, right? Yeah, Japic is right, you can interrupt during any point and any trigger. If you trigger during movement and it interrupts finishing of movement, then yes, you have effectively denied the dragon anything but move actions that round. He would stop and hover, or simply cease forward momentum and drop like a rock. The Spot DC for an inanimate, immobile and invisible wall is DC 40.

Sounds fair to me, and with their INSANELY high Spot Modifiers, I can see it spotting the wall, most of the time, and responding appropriately to it as well. Sounds good to me! I will go with Hide from Dragons as 7th level spell, and replace Fireball with AntiDragon Aura for bonuses to ALL the others, instead of a spell that would have a 50/50 chance of stopping a dragon from flying. Next level, if I live long enough, feat of Extra Spell, so that I can gain another spell, taking Wingbind, or something to that effect.
