UPDATE[/size] 7/25/2008 I have my players for this game, they are; at spiral Piranjade Chunker Yakumo Wicksy If anyone wants to step down for others, they may do so at their desire and leisure. The rest of you should try to get your PCs created and posted by Monday, July 28th. If you need help or have any questions, let me know in post or via PM so I can address accordingly. See in you hell!
This is an official call for players for Expedition to Castle Ravenloft Adventure. Details:- I'm looking for a total of six players. - I would prefer if older players would step down in lieu of newer players that want in. - Character creation collaboration and discussion is encouraged (here or on the background thread) This is an adventure designed for players starting at 6th level and taking them to 10th. I can vouch for the games fun-ness and I will do my best to progress through lulls to keep it interesting but as always, I extend this warning to all players; The lure of a new game is both exciting and fun, but please consider the commitment you must make, not only to the DM but to the other players. They may rely on you in key situations and you must be there for all of the players to play and to have a good time. Be sure you can post regularly for a considerable length of time before joining a new game. That said, let's use the scientifically proven method of getting new players...huge freakin' letters! CALLING ALL PLAYERS!!!

I'm in. Also willing to step down for a new player if we hit the cap.
I want to try something new and I've never played a fighter-type character. I think I want to try a Paladin, but I've never played one before so any suggestions would be welcome.
(Also I'm not huge into Prestige classes, too complicated for my poor head)

Count me in, though I can also step down if need be.
I'm thinking a half-elven (female) gypsy (bard). I've never played Ravenloft before, so I may need some pointers on backstory and tie-ins.

i am in, but will willingly step down for anyone else who wants to play, older or newer, as to the sheer number of games i am in.
as to prestige classes, with limit of 10, there arn't many you can get into well enough to truelly make it worth while.

As of right now i am envisioning some type of ranged weapon user, either the Ranger/Scout i have been trying for ages to play, or a straight Fighter useing a Composite Longbow

For now I'm thinking Paladin of Tyranny if I can pull it off, Or Drunken Master (Monk)

Hexblade please, though I could be arm-twisted into archivist if we wind up without a healer/caster :-p

To echo the others who have posted, I would like to play, but am happy to step down.
I was thinking of a Cleric of Pelor undead hunter type character, or possobly the cloistered cleric version, if that's allowed.
(Mmmm, Radiant servant of Pelor. )

I'd be interested in playing because I never had a character at such a high level as I'm quite new to D&D and I think that it could be fun. But I'd also be willing to step down if there are too many people who want to play.

- I would prefer if older players would step down in lieu of newer players that want in. I am quite likely the oldest player on the board, but I'd like to play my I-have-no-games-left card to get in. I haven't had a chance to utilize the Spell Compendium someone generously gave me so I'm thinking Cleric, Druid, or Wizard.

I think with Chunker, at, Spiral, PiranJade, Deekin, and Bad* you've got plenty of people that aren't in too many games already. Given that I'm in 8, running two, and possibly running another one, I will happily sit on the sidelines and watch. Rojito, Yakumo, and I can form a cheering section with our combined 24 characters.

Haha Dang I was looking forward to this, seemed like it could be fun. I'm out then.
I demand a Gully dwarf in Dragonlance game now.

Don't worry, we'll be the new party for when the old party goes missing.

Alright, for certain I've got; at spiral Piranjade Chunker Those wanting to play but willing to step down; Yakumo Bad* Rojito Deekin I'll take the 4 at the top for sure, but who wants to play more out of the next four? I only need two--I think 8 would detract from the challenge of the adventure. Let me know who wants in and who is willing to double-step down as it were.
