A simple question, really. I've been talking to KMan about picking up GFYD, and he is amenable to the idea. I've gotten what notes he has for the campaign and can continue to hassle him with details, but will otherwise be running the game.
That is, if people still want to play. I don't think a game has ever been run on here that shifts from one GM to another, so this will be a first. I think this game deserves to be finished, but I think that's up to the people playing it. If the GFYD players out there are up for it, I am, too. So should we finish this, with me as GM, or let it go?

This game deserves to find resolution. While i truelly wish that it could have been finished under Kman in recognition to the original BOYD, circumstances beyond our control made this impossible. So finishing the storyline is something i think is necessary

Do it to it pal. Kman has always been about the story; he doesn't want mechanics or real life problems to destroy that story. If you can pull it off, make it happen.
You can do it!

If you run it, I'm in definitely, this game deserves an end! Just be sure that it won't take up too much time for you, I don't want Shards to suffer for it. Also, I'm a little concerned about the alliance/unification of Wanderer and the DM. I want some up front guarantees that in every future fight between Gildas and Wanderer (and the latter would normally get his ass kicked) now some divine/DM intervention won't show up.

Hmm... there appears to be a problem of participation. I'm still very willing to run this, but with only 4 responses after this has been around a week, it may not be feasible. I have 3 of the 4 active Ravensheaders, and only 1 of the Tertian contingent (I'm hesitant to count myself). I'd still like to hear from Shakes, Fangor, and Ryngo.
Maybe it'd be an idea to try and recruit those we still have active on the boards. Hm.

\We could PM them and see what they say. Shake's knows about the game. I'm sure she'll play. Fangor and Ryngo might not be about too much after K Mans anouncement so if they know somethings happenign they might hop back.

I considered that, but he could be coming by as a guest and not logging in. His last login is precisely timed to when he last posted, and the game was updating fairly infrequently. I don't believe he'd not have bothered to check in after his last post.
I should see if he has an email on file... Or maybe just start the game and see what happens.
I am considering opening the game up to new players, though, since we have only a handful of campaigns going on, and this is a good, classic D&D game.

His e-mail is hidden so unless your buttons of power allow it, he may stay unreachable. Hopefully he dow log on soon though. His presence will be missed.

Just had a second to chime in. I too think Udjat should finish this game and he's got my phone number/email for me to coach him through the rest of the game.
I say finish it!

Consider this your acceptance. Welcome back, man. Send me a PM with your ideas and we'll hammer things out.
