Give me a day or two to read the campaign's progress so far.
WOW I'm excited.

I did consider it, actually. But you know how it is---no one can play your character just right, even if they come close.
It looks like the most magical punch either of the parties has amounts to bards and rangers. As such, I'm vacillating between cleric/druid/wizard, probably leaning toward cleric or druid.

A cleric of St. Cuthbert would be incredibly easy to add to the Red team right now, and they're the ones more in need of players right now. A druid could also work, and would mesh exceedingly well with the group's existing skills. But in either case, note that divine magic in the storyline isn't currently working. Gods aren't answering prayers. I don't expect this to be a campaign-long dilemma, but for the time being 'spells per day' is 0 for all divine casters.

Hey man, Wiz, good to see you back! Udjat's right, we the red team do need an extra hand, and a magical one might be really good. If you would be up for the challenge it might be fun to roleplay a cleric seeking to regain his magic, as we're all trying to figure out what happened to those guys up there. I think the story as a whole would really benefit from it. For the present you could just be a fighter or something, cause we all know clerics are just fighters with magic, right?

cause we all know clerics are just fighters with magic, right? And without feats and martial weapon proficiencies and good BAB. A Druid would be more useful in the interim. They still have Wild Shape (or the Shapeshifting variant, which I prefer), decent skills, and various other perks. Just ask Shakes! A druid without casting might actually fail to overshadow the other characters. (I like druids, by the way, but it's fun to be cynical about them)

*sigh* Scratch that. I won't be participating after all. Sorry to raise false hopes. In fact, I hope not to visit this site ever again, really. Like Kyle, I have other, more important priorities. And to be honest, I expect that to be true...forever. Not to insinuate that I haven't enjoyed the time I've spent here. I've enjoyed it tremendously. I attribute a great portion of that to how cool the members of these boards are. May you all never run into anything with a CR, but when you do, may you level accordingly, Daniel Bell I would love to hear from any/all of you about how your lives are going; you can send email to vballnut153@yahoo.com.
If you'd like it easier (I know I would), hit me up on facebook.

He probably could've gotten out of all of that more gracefully by saying "Just kidding! April Fools!" Oh well. Better to have a player appear and back out before joining a game than after I've gone through the trouble of integrating them. As Japic said, game is still on. (If anybody's wondering why it's taking me so long, I've been taking extra care to acquaint myself with Team Green's side of the story and to actually plan some stuff, heretical as that thought is ).
