Ok, I need a few questions answered: 1 - What are my starting HP? I see them as (level *5) +7 +CON Modifier = 12. I see everyone else's HP at such a higher starting point, and was wondering what I was doing wrong. I think I may have the wrong info, as a lot of things aren't lining up right.... 2 - Draconic Heritage needs to be clarified to me. I see it listed as different things on different sources. From mine, I have: Draconic HeritageWhen a power or skill uses your Constitution modifier, you may use your Charisma modifier instead. So, is that right? If so, does that mean my Encounter Power of the breath weapon would not use the CON modifier, but instead use the CHA modifier? 3 - What does Inspiring Word grant? It's pretty vague, from the source I have, and doesn't delve into it's mechanics. As you can see, I am using the link from a previous thread, which is dnd4.com/phb#6This is where I am getting my info, but I fear that it's incomplete, or inaccurate. Thanks!

Someone with a book will have to clarify what powers you have available, and what Dragon Heritage really does--but as you wrote it, yes, you could replace the damage with your Cha mod instead of Con, for instance. I can tell you that Inspiring Word allows a character within 5 squares to use a Healing Surge, and can be used twice per encounter (but once per round). See Gabullifax's character sheet (for KotS) for full text. There's also a Dragonborn Warlock (Mekarn) who may have the full text for Dragon Heritage. Just click the link in my sig to find them. As for hit points, I was fooled by that, too. Each class has a base value (in the case of a Warlord, that's '12'). That is then added to your Constitution, not your Con modifier. In your case, that's 12+12=24. Your bloodied amount is half that (12), and your healing surge amount is 1/4 that (6). Round down when necessary. Hope that helps.

Ok, for those of you without the books, here is a shortcut to get you going. Go to www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/insider/compendiumClick where it says 'Click here to launch the compendium' Search for Dragonborn, Warlord or whatever you might need to know the details on note however this isn't perfect. The information provided appears to be a pre-print playtesting version. Some information is missing. Dragonborn gain Dragonborn Fury: +1 to attack when bloodied Draconic Heritage: You add your Con bonus to healing surge amount Dragon Breath: 1d6 + con damage

Ok, made some updates. Question - Do the Racial and Class Features/Powers count against my allotment from class restrictions? In other words, does the Breath Weapon count against my 1 Encounter Power I am allowed to have and does the Inspiring Word count against my Encounter total as well?
Am I allowed to have Breath Weapon, Inspiring Word, and another Encounter power at first level?

The Breath Weapon and Inspiring Word are automatic, bonuses for being Dragonborn and a Warlord. In addition to those, you pick a Warlord Encounter power (Inspiring Word is a class feature rather than a class power).
So yes, you can also have an encounter power.

Also, feats. I listed a basic one, but was wondering if there were any other flavorful ones. I don't have any equipment yet, but I think I can sort that out soon.

Vemu - I'm coming out with 29 points on your ability scores (instead of 22) Rojito can you show math if I'm wrong (since he said you did them)? You also need to get your equipment. Do you want me to just assign some or do you want to use Wizards website to purchase (see my earlier post)?

Rojito did them, yes, and since I'm not really familiar with the pointbuy, I'll let him answer that.
As for equipment, yes, you can do it if you don't mind. Though I have already kind of decided that he should have a hide armor and a bow, and perhaps a club for his melee weapon, if he is proficient with those. If not, you're free to decide yourself.

Rojito, 4e 22 point-buy is not equivalent to a 3.5e 32 point-buy with a mandatory minimum of 10 on five of your attribrutes. For example, in 4e, the cost to raise a score from 10 to 16 is 9pts. In 3.5e, the cost to raise a score from 10 to 16 is 8pts.

i just recently noticed that, and will be fixing my own character sheet as well. as for Vemu, i'd say drop you Con core to 10, with costs you 2 hp and 1 healing surge a day, and your endurance skill goes down 1 point due to the attribute no longer giveing its plus.
