I originally titled this thread "Arclite Internet Problems", But after spending the last few hours trying to get this posted, I think the current title is more suiting. I've never had this much problems with technology before! I mean two hours for a post! It keeps timing out in the middle of a post, but only has this effect in the actual browser and only during a post. It's kinda like being told that you can look but not touch! I can still IM and Email just fine for some reason, but not post... damn thing...  Well I think I'm gonna have to lay low for a bit till my connection turns down the suck. I'm still pretty active in the IM ring, and am not too horrible at DM/GM/STing there. I'll try to change my profile to show my addresses. We could even move sections of AGA there too if need be. So that being said I may be absent for a while... again  |

So let me get this straight. You can look at posts, you can email... but posting on the boards gives you problems.
This is a temporary fix, but why don't you email someone (say, me) the posts and have them put it up in your stead? You have my email. I have time. Seems plausible.

Why don't you just type them out in Word or something, then when you come to the boards, copy and paste them, that way they won't be lost.
That's what I had to do a couple of times when my computer sucked. I'd even keep them on disks and just use another computer to post.
I've been having problems with IE freezing up every few seconds and not moving and then screwing up my internet connection whenever I tried to close it. Had to use firefox and make sure that all my dice rolls were coming up. But now IE is good again.
computers just suck like that

I had problems with IE...it seems to be virus/spyware triggered. It went with Firfox so thats all i now use.

If the problems can't be solved with these suggestions, Udjat's temporary fix seems best for now. You can just send your Rinascimento posts to my mail if you want to. Since right now you're storyline is an individual one, we could just play by mail for a short while, or I could put your posts in the main game thread, but that seems less direct. Anyway, my mail address is in my profile. There's no need for you to dissapear again, just yet.  |

HA HA! Success! Using school comp, so I cant really update, but I can tell you all that I will prepare all of your updates in advance with pen and paper then post up during my wicked huge gaps between classes. All of the die rolls will be manual so you all are just gonna have to trust me. Temporary fix, but a snail's pace still winds him up somewhere! ;D
A couple of answers while I'm here. I do use Firefox, I have tried the word thing but the problem is in the posting, not in the time. It just doesn't want to connect for some reason. Vemu, I'm all up for that. Expect an email soon, Rinascimento is my favorite game here.

Also, if you'd really like some help fixing things, could you run cmd.exe (the command like), type "ipconfig /all" without quotation marks in the field you get there, and tell me what you get.
