My internet is on the fritz at home and it looks like the problem (wiring in the walls) is too expensive to fix right now, so...no internet. I'll have to post from work instead during breaks and such (like right now)
I won't need to drop out of any games or anything, but my posts might be a little less regular, or maybe more regular since they'll all be at certain times of day now and I used to post so whimsically...I don't know what will happen to them, but they'll be different somehow. If I DO miss a post, I apologize in advance and for the Game of Secrets, I'll have to figure out the best time of day to put it all together, but It'll work out one way or another.
Anyhow thanks for everyone's patience...

Sorry your internet's down. Good luck getting it fixed, once that's affordable. We can be patient, no problem.

something in the walls. I couldn't be much more specific as I am not one of those make the aforesaid living off it. I'm afraid I'm at the level of broke vs. not broke.
That goes for finances too...Ha Ha Ha!

Sounds like dead phone lines? Is your land line affected too?

could be multiple things, not just his phone line. Not even all internet is provided by phone line nowa days. Have you checked with your provider to make sure its not something with them? And just how sure are you its in the wall? cause i picture it as your computer is up and working but your getting no "connectivity" on your lan line (you are useing lan not wireless right?) first thing i would check is to make sure your modem is working. then check the connecters on the cable itself... Sorry, computers and wiring are my passion, only roleplaying comes anywhere near competeing with them

Yeah, it's phone lines. I suppose I might have mentioned that in the first place. What's wrong with them? That's where I'm in the dark.

If its the phone lines, get the phone company out. In the UK, BT are responsible for all your phone lines and have to fix them for free. Dunno about that in the states though.
