Just wanted to say sorry about not posting on my game as I should have, as well as possibly not updating much on the other games. I had a sick dog for the past three days, and today, we had to make the choice to put her down. Sunshine, my little over a year old, Lab/Hound mixed dog finally had kidney failure, and Addisons Disease. I had been monitoring her these past few days, trying to get her healthy, and causing me to slip from work and life in general. Now, after speaking with the vet and coming to the decision that she was going to suffer the rest of her life, we had to make the decision to Euthanise her.
Hopefully things will turn around for me, as she was our first dog for our family. She will be sorely missed. Just thought I would write something down, she deserves it.

Man, i know how that feels. My heart goes out to you mate. We had a German Shepard with back leg problems. Her spine was failing - a common problem with pure breed Shepards. We had to have her put down because it got she couldnt hold back from going to the toilet. She was only 7 and the front end of her was perfectly fine. The vet came out and put her to sleep and we took her to my uncle's where she was buried with her mum, dad and two brothers.

My sister just lost her lifelong cat of 14 years, the one that stuck with her through all her formative years and whatnot. Hell, I have fond memories of him from when we were both adolescents. Losing a pet can be... an experience. And not a good one. I'm sorry you lost yours so young. You should've had many years of joy with Sunshine.

I am sorry too Fangor. Losing an animal is something no one should take lightly. Take your time, we'll always be here.

Thanks everyone, I just finished burying her, and man was that tough. My wife is taking it the hardest, as she can't have any more children, and we decided to get Sunshine in January, as an adoption/rescue, which she was supposed to be put to sleep within 24 hours, if someone did not adopt her. Her whole life was spent in the pound, from 3 months old to 9 months old. Then we found her, gave her a home, and she was our family. My wife says its the hardest thing she's ever had to go through, as she was our baby...
Again, thanks for understanding.

Well, at least she knew some love in a good home however short it was.
And there are plenty of other dogs that need love if or when you feel you're ready.
