Hey Kids, Sorry I've been sporadically absent lately. It was a mixture of finals and my girlfriend's graduation....or the new Super Swing Golf game I got for my Wii. Either way, I now have to play tourguide for some out-of-towners this weekend and I doubt I'll be back until 19th, maybe the night of the 18th. So I will see you all then when I return. - KMan

You have a Wii? Awesome. Be careful though. There are reports of the strap breaking and the Wiimote flying into screens.

You know, I've got a lot to comment on people being retarded enough to believe this is a problem (HOLD ON TO THE FUCKING THING!!!) but sadly, no time to rant now. Just realize the idea is that you HOLD the remote and do the activity, not throw it.
Anyways, Super Swing Golf is amazing fun...I'll you about it when I get back.

I too have been catering to out of towners this weekend. KMan and mine GFs are/were both in the same graduating class, so there are guests aplenty. They'll be gone on my end by wednesday morning, but until then I'll continue to be bogged down. Happy gaming.

Waaargh! All the GMs are gone! All? Well I suck at math but here's what I see. Kman is not posting today. I have. ZBS is likely to. Wicksy and Similar, well who can keep track of those zany brits? Fangor... umm... well, who can keep track of him either? Vemu, isn't an active DM anomore, mores the pitty. Even you TTC, weren't you DMing forever ago? If so, you're here too. This does little to contradict your point as above, but I thought it interesting. We actually have a good number of DMs for how small the active community is. Seems that nearly everyone's tried their hand, some succeeding better than others. It might be easier to count the non DMs than the other way around.

Pretty sure that he meant Spiral. All you Brits are the same to us I may update tonight. Depends on how mean I'm feeling. I'm still not sure why anyone puts up with me. A day's worth of game time taking nearly six months to finish. Come on guys, just kill eachother and save me the trouble of doing it for you. I posted in Japic's game though. Getting owned by traps is always fun. Hopefully KMan will be back soon. Or else I want my money back. 'Cause I know next week and part of the week after that are going to be especially dead around here with Christmas and New Year's coming up.

With KMAN and Japic out, I should really update... will work on that tonight...
Later!!!

Spirals probably too busy serving up christmas dinner to his bosses at the moment to post ;D He'll be back though. BTW, does anyone else play d&d with their mates over christmas? Back in the day when Spiral wasnt attached, we used to roleplay all night over new years (and shotgun the odd bottle of bubbly). Christmas is usually funny anyway. Couple of christmas' ago, spiral, his girlfriend and i went off on the lash with a mate of ours. Spiral and i got steaming drunk and broke into the old kiddies playground we used to play in as kids. It really got funny when we tried to get out by climbing over a fence. I think i landed flat on my face! ;D

I'd GM, but I have a nasty habit of failing to post, spontaneously losing internet time, or otherwise up and disappearing. My consistency is poor. If someone wanted to co-GM, though, I'm game. Mostly, though, I need a posting-slave so that I don't have to do the repetitive crap. Lo, I am benevolent beyond measure.

Alright, I'm back. As for being gone over the holidays; I don't have as much time off as I did last year, so I should still be able to post--read should. I cannot account for the influx of new Wii games that may cause me to suddenly come down with an illness...
I'll get to posting now.

There's two things with being busy studying history; it's both superb inspiration for great campaign ideas as well as too time-consuming to leave any time for running and developing them. So should I ever decide I might have the time and guts to run a game over here, it would probably be one set in a real historical period of earth's history. Real-time settings provide so much more ideas and opportunity for fantasy than things like magic ever could... I mean, right now we're reading Machiavelli; that man was totally evil. He would be such a cool NPC.

If I can find anywhere with Wii and Zelda in stock this christmas - there will be no OMAM posts, until January 7th.
If I keep posting...it means no Wii Wii.

We're supposed to go down to a friend's house (RedCow's) at the end of December. He gets about 16 nerds all in one place at one time and what transpires is not so pretty. About three TVs all in one room, each with a different video game, and lots of other games of the board and RPG variety. Thankfully this year there will be no Thundercats (hopefully) so we won't have to watch 33 more episodes.
I try to spend most of my days there hiding in the corner cause I'm not really a true nerd, (mostly a poser according to that test)
I can't believe Spiral breaks into playgrounds. That has to be funny. Do you guys push each other on the swings?

Yup, we pushed each other. It was funny. Me and Spiral were really up for it but the others wimped out a bit. I seem to remember someone crying because they couldnt get over the fence! (not spiral unfortunately!! ;D).

We were all very very drunk.
I mean really. My gf couldnt climb the fence so she just ran off into the dark of the park again, and we had to go find her. She was just walking around talking to herself in there, mumbling drunk style.
Very funny.
Same again this year Wicks?

Damn right mate! Christmas wouldnt be christmas without a festive kebab from that god awful place near the library. Or are you planning to tear up Cambridge this year? There are lots of ancient, historical stuff we could ascrew with in Cambridge. Better hide my Manchester staff card though! ;D
