I would love to get in on this, but (honestly) I haven't read enough to really understand what you guys are trying to do--so I'll refrain from it. If you need anything from me, don't hesitate to ask.
Might I suggest you try to recruit some members from other boards? Like the WotC homebrew board? Enworld or other forums that have sections like that? It may round up some fresh blood.
I'll keep watching this one for sure.

Well, we could use some boards to get started. Vemu summed up our needs as the following:
Characters involved - a complete list of all characters involved and information about their availability to newcomers.
Maps and handouts - information about the campaign setting, as well as the periodical newspaper or other important information.
Guilds - here members of all the guilds come to play. (The individual guilds should each get a sub-board under this board where the actual campaign is played. The general guild board could function as the area where the occasional encounters between guilds and the out-of-guild's-main-story adventures could be handled.
Currently we have 2 guilds, so that would be four total boards we need. Sub-Folders will also be needed eventually.

It's not really all that complex. In terms of this prologue adventure, we're pretty much experimenting with the use of two DMs running an adventure simultaneously to see what that's going to be like. Not really going to be focusing Too much on guild goings on. If you're at all interested there will be plenty of time to discuss and catch up on reading and the exchange of ideas and concepts during the time that it takes to get through the test run.
Overall, it's going to be just like regular D&D, but with guilds. It's still all about the characters and what they want to do but their affiliation with the guild will ultimatelyplay a role in as much of their actions as they choose. Well at least that's my impression at its vaguest.
In terms of recruiting from other boards, it's to early right now as we don't even have the boards up, so that's why we haven't resorted to that yet. Trying to see what we can get going here first.
We have two of our friends from home possibly joining in on at least the test run, so that's two right there.

We're not going to go with the general discussion board I also mentioned? General Talk and Information - Here anyone may talk freely about the game, and general information for newcomers can be found here.Of course it can be done in the already present out of game discussion board here at Kmans, but I figure not every newcomer reads that stuff and so it would be better to have everything in one complete niche. As for color, I really don't have a preference. Something that catches the eye. I think they're going to need two sub-folders under the guilds board, one for each guild (Federated Acquisitions + Farseekers Guild). But I'll leave that up to the DMs.

I like Cyan for the color.
If anyone thinks that's too girly then you can pick a new one. I deliberately stayed away from all of my first choices which were a bunch of really bright purples and pinks, so. . .
The boards should go however Vemu thinks

I must have missed that whe I was summarising, considering that I was actually looking at your post when I made that list!
The sub-boards would be for sorting things. As we are currently in the prologue stage which only two guilds and no detailed city, just the five should do for now. Eventually, the resources board will need to be sorted as well as the discussion forum. For now the four I said and the one that Vemu said that I was supposed to say should be all we need.

Okay. Most of your stuff is created. Who will be admins on this board?
EDIT: Nevermind. For now, Lin and Z-Shakes are admins. If that needs to change, let me know.
Is setup. Everyone like? Anything you want me to change? Each guild can have their own color for their sub-boards if they want.
Let me know what else I can do.

Sub boards for each of the guilds in the characters board would be helpful as well. a way to reduce confusion and clutter when looking for characters who aren't always going to be active.

ooh colors for guilds would be cool. like a bit of a nationalistic thing, only for guilds. though the guild creators should come up with the color.
