{Alright, I'm making this post for myself since I hate digging through my past posts to find the links to the images I have used for pics of important NPCS. Other GMs are welcome to post their NPCs here as well.}
{This is also for the players benefits, if they can not remember a certain NPCs name, or their position in the campaign.}
Bring Out Your Dead -
- King Sturmguard of Ravenshead. Human king of great city. Well loved by all his people and protectorate of them all. Warrior-King willing to lay his life on the line for those under his rule.
- Sir Mordrid 'The Pure'. Cowardly and arrogant nephew of King Sturmguard. Earned the animosity of EVERY party member when he left them at Boon's Freehold to die. UPDATE: Sir Mordrid the Pure, after a cowardly display at Boon's Freehold, returned and begged his king for forgiveness. Knowing he was heir to the throne, Sturmguard tasked him with becoming a hero of the people and its champion, all without a name or face so that he could not rely on rank to win the public over. He is now dead, Details found here.
- Mordrock the 'Strong'. Small, somewhat pathetic goblin found locked in a cell by his kin near Boon's Freehold. Friendly and willing to help any that lend and ear to his whines and pleas. Has become a useful member of the party, his knowledge of 'The Masters' troops and his skills as a rogue are becoming well-known. Still has a crush on Krysta and her cohort, Adelia.
- Irinys Treesong. Prince of the elven Empire of Astoril. Arrogant and cocky, feels that the crystal shards are in fact a weapon to use against 'The Master'...a powerful device that will win the war. Recruited one half of the party to help the Elves and seize other pieces of the crystal for themselves. Has since been assisted by Romar in gaining more crystals for his mother's purpose.
- Queen of the Elven Empire based in Ephemiryl. Is using the shards to power a massive tower in the heart of her city, a weapon against The Master and his troops. Will stop at nothing to get more shards to further her goal...she wants the war over and The Master annihilated.
- King Grandil Battlehammer. Leader and Dwarven King of the mountain keep of Bazarkrak. Has since, after direction from Garor - survivor of the Dwarven royal line - moved operations to Ravenshead. Brought an army of metal construct warriors with him. A great warrior as well.
- Marg Rockhammer. Cheif counsel and high cleric in Bazarkrak. Recently returned from an expedition to find Garor Skullsplitter, only surviving member of family to the High Clerics of Bazarkrak and thusly heir to the throne in time. Helpful in healing and vengeful in battle.
- Adolpho Ustgrave. Elderly knight and former council member of a disbanded group of cavaliers calling themselves 'The Knights of The Purest-Star'. Imparted, to the PCs, that a knight, Malvius, believed The Masters essence is contained in an object somewhere that must be destroyed before The Master himself can be destroyed.
- The 'Faceless' Knight. A trusted commander under Sturmguard and well loved people's hero. Never seen outside of his armor in public and there are rumors that not a man, but an avatar of Pelor himself walks among the inhabitants of Ravenshead. He is now dead, Details found here. As it turns out, The Faceless Knight was in fact Sir Mordrid the Pure, the cowardly nephew of the King. Sturmguard had commanded Mordrid to earn a name and respect without relying on his family title.
- Allessia Storm-Maiden. Head druid of a coven called 'The Glade'. Has since moved her animal force to just outside of Ravenshead once the group returned from hell after rescuing the shard and laying Karn's spirit to rest.
- Hirsuthe the Vampire. Higher ranking commander within the armies of 'The Master'. Lives, as much as undead can, for the thrill of 'the hunt' with his prey. Often will banter for hours to determine intelligence level his prey.
- Veya. Leader of 'The Fatherless', a group of Roc Riders that left their home during a final attack by 'The Master'. They survived on the cold peak of a mountain until Yuri and Romar uncovered a plot of Hirsuthe to change them all into vampires. Veya killed herself upon Romar's return, unable to bear her unfaithfulness to the ranger. Occasionally appears as a concious guide to Romar.
- Emerikol the Chaotic. Wise and powerful mage, but unpredictable as a volcano. Lent the group the 'Demonwing', a ship capable of sailing straight into the depths of hell to retrieve a shard from the tomb of Karn, a mighty warrior.
- Telena Sandstrider. Half-Giant woman, prominent figure in the ruling council of the Gathered Nations. Bears an uncanny resemblance to Girud Sandstrider, one of the PC's.
- The Mark of 'The Master'. Emblazoned or burned into the flesh of every troop in service to the enigmatic leader of the undead, this marks true properties are unknown but one thing is for certain, it allows for the dead to return to life.
