The DM's Shorts - Calling players!!

In case you haven't noticed, there is a new Short up in the Right Leg - quoting myself and a little more I will be running a short like most of the others in those parts of the forum - the players join up, choose one of the already existing assignments, get their equipment, and then go out to kick some [bad guys]' arse - with all the other things involved with heroic undertakings of this sort sprinkled lightly upon the whole affair.

However, in case the interest remains only for pure hack'n'slash adventures - my ever-brilliant imagination has room for all. I present you a certain invention of mine - the Extreme Shorts - Shorts not spanning past more than a few rounds of combat. No bothering with introductions here, no Sir! This time it's straight to the action! Ooh yeah! On the other hand, the rewards aren't as great as with regular assignments.

Extreme Shorts:

Mission: Rats!
Level Requirement: 1
Description: The academy has many cellars, and one of them has been infected by swarms of ill-tempered rodents. Clear them out.

(Yes, I know that it's quite similar to one of the regular jobs in terms of title, level requirement and such.)

Level Requirement: 2-3
Description: A spell has gone awry and now a Fire Elemental have started jetting around the academy, setting things alight. Make it stop.

Level Requirement: 6+
Description: As you travel through the desert on the way to your actual assignment, you are attacked by a strange band of... Water Elementals?

Can we play the 'Trapping More Than Fur' mission? I realy wanna see how does the more levelled characters are like.. (the highest level I played was.. 7 in HACK&SLASH so.. bleh)

That game was written and designed by KMan, and no one else has info about it. That's among the few that he put up for adventures on the Shorts.

Unfortunately no one else can run that one. However Kauyon brought up a good point to me in PM, and we're considering upping some of the PCs to more fun levels. Who cares about teh piddly 2nd level PCs anymore, right? Let's get some real action cooking with higher level guys.

The upgrade will be in progress shortly and should be available for more fun later on.
