Well, I promised everyone I'd let them know how my trip was and post pics, so here they are. Below is Lovecrafts grave at the Swan Lake Cemetery in Providence, Rhode Island.
You'll notice the "I am Providence" inscribed on the tombstone...a very classy inscription indeed.
The tomb and cemetery itself were a complete Beotch to find...buried in the depths of a place that seemed very unfriendly to the westerners, but we did find it. There was even a guard there. When questioned, he apaprently has to watch during the day, and then for two weeks around Halloween, he and his co-workers are 24/7 because some maggots out there actually try to take his gravestone.
What the crap is with that? Trying to take his gravestone....some people need to get another hobby.
The cemetery is awesome, if you guys ever get the chance, go find it...it's pretty cool.
These next pics have nothing to do with New England, but I was proud of them anyway. They are the pumpkins I carved last night and set out on the porch.
Sorry for the size of them...apparently my camera takes F'in huge pictures. Anyway...
