Alright, I'll be honest here people. I'm having fun with this whole online campaign thing. Its' my first time doing something like this and its' given me great opportunity to get my writings out there in a style I want and to be able to play all the time...even at work. {But don't tell my boss. ;D }
Anyway, what would you guys rather see? How many of you know someone else that can play? Etc etc...
I'd like to get another game going, but I'll let the response from everyone else decide. Feel free to post thoughts here Players & Visitors alike. Also, if anyone wants to DM their own thing on this board, I'd happily join and I'd let them be a moderator on this board. PM me for more details.

Consider me a vote (in spirit) for the "What's a campaign?" choice. But in any case, I think thrawn's friend would, could, and should run a D&D campaign on here. I can only remember one ridiculously long url, after all! Besides, I'm sure you want to be on the giving end of the critical madness that seems to have overtaken PC dice on these boards.

I think that critical madness might be me. I'm half Irish and playing a cleric of Luck in-game...and I've always been a lucky ******* with dice and cards and things. Oh, and DnD seems l33t- perhaps a different setting? Rokugan, maybe? But what really appeals to me is BESM d20. www.guardiansorder.com/d20/srd/#animeI'd LOVE a campaign playing THAT.

I love Strong Bad... but, really, no. It doesn't concentrate on the silly aspects of anime, and does a great job of representing the kinds of character archetypes in anime, with classes like Mecha Pilot, Gun Bunny, Samurai, Martial Artist, Student...but what really appeals to me is the comprehensive point-based powers system. I DARE you to think up a superhero, monster, normal hero, etc., anime or not, that I can't stat using BESM d20. I think a Rokugan or BESM d20 campaign would be just the third campaign to fit the bill. I'd even DM if K-man didn't want to...

I’d play in a new campaign I don’t really care in what. I don’t know how many of you remember shadow run but this could be a cool forum for something like that, although I don’t know if that game is even in print any more.

Looking over peoples responses so far...what about a futuristic D20 Campaign of some sort?
As some of you may know, I'm leaving for a real vacation this time to return by the 17th or so, and I wanted to do some thinking and planning, possibly start something when I get back. That's the reason I'm asking.
I could come up with a Cybernetics addendum to D20 modern and could just allow the core races (Elf, Dwarf Etc) and have it take place in a fantastical future world with mechas...flying trains...planetary travel etc... How does that sound?

Again? I've read some Shadowrun, but never actually played. What was it like? I've never played a non-d20 system.

Poor, poor, soul. I feel your loss. Never even played a non D20 game. <sniffle> What has society come to that a gamer no longer utilizes all the dice in his bag. All this simpilized D20 crap. I remmeber when Cthulhu was based on percentiles, when you had to roll a handful of d6 to gain sucesses in Shadowrun, when Warewolf required lots of d10. Needing to know a dozen rule structures, one for each game. Now they are all so similar it's scary. Whatever happened to the good 'ol days of the roleplaying profiteers. <sigh> Oh well. That's how the world is nowadays. Everyone buying out whoever thay can to corner a market, then destroy the games we all know and love. Nothing we can do about it, except to buy the latest upgrades and erratas. Learning entirely new rules, regulations, spells, EVERYTHING ! ! ! I think I'm going to cry....

Actually, I just realized that I didn't answer your question Tomcat. Shadowrun on a general whole is where the future and magic blend wonderfully together. You can have cyonic and bionic enhancements, while still casting magic. The wold is no longer as we know it, but war has brought major corporations out into the open, and they own territories. The world is carved up by these Corps, and they make most of the rules that people follow. Hell, the police, firefighters, and hospitals are even run by a Corp. All told it's a fun system allowing technology and magic to coincide.
What I was referring to earlier about the dice is that you don't roll a d20 to determine how well you do things. You get x amount of dice to do something, and your DC for an average task is a 3 or higher if it's more difficult. (usually not above 6 for a basic skill check). Lets say you are an average guy, your strength would be around 3 (as opposed to DnD where it's what?... 12?). Anyhow, your GM calls for strength check as you're trying to lift a heavy crate. He says that your dc is going to be 4 because this box is too big and heavy for you to lift comfortably. So you roll your 3d6 and try to get one 4. If you do, you succeed, if you dont, then you fail. Now in this case the amount fo dice you get to roll is equal to your score in that skill. Lets say your a brainiac, Int. of 6, and you have to reason something out, or something that would require a check. You'd get 6d6 to try and get over the DC. so the higher your stat,.. the better your chances to succeed.
Hopefully i've given you a little insight into the world of Shadowrun, without making it overwhelming. Unfortunately it is a pretty complex game at first. But you get used to it. That's all for now. See ya.
