Hey folks, I know that my posting has been sporadic to begin with, but I'll be out of town for a few days and won't be taking the internet with me.
I'll be gone Friday through Monday; so carry on without me for now and I'll be back soon to get my game on.
See ya in a few days.

See ya! Try not to get stuck in any fuming gasses, or what is it again that's in Yellowstone?

Try not to get stuck in any fuming gasses, or what is it again that's in Yellowstone? Geysers and the supervolcano, I believe. Got any pictures for us, Japic? It's supposed to be pretty up there. I hope it was a good trip.

I know that its been almost a month; but I finally got all my photos up to photobucket. I thought I'd share the link. Its not so interesting as the trips I take to tropical places; but there was still interesting stuff with all the volcanic activity up there. Let me know if you guys have any Qs and I'll do my best to answer them. See ya.

Cool. I like most any nature pics, tropical or non. And I just realized that I've got on my Yellowstone T-shirt for bed. I've had a day full of funny coincidences around here. Anyways, thanks for sharing your hot pics

Yeah, thanks! I know uploading those pics can be a really daunting task, still promised to upload mine of Poland, but... not now. I especially like picture 167, it has a paintingesque quality to it, and it's interesting. And the picture 255, what are the colors? It seems like a magical vortex or something. Blue, green, orange, yellow, awesome. Seems you had a good time! I know I would if I were there.

Thanks for the comments guys. Vemu, as for #167, the pillar; its an old geyser. At some point a long time ago the ground shifted and cutoff whatever source of water it was using. It has a name, but I don't remember it. As to 255, I can't help you on colors. what I can offer is that I took a pic of one of the more famous pools and the sign there. It has a picture of when it was more beautiful, but is no longer. There was another somewhere that talked about the algea and the colors they are at whatever temperatures. The hotter they are the more blue they get or such. Regrettably, I didn't capture that sign. Note the picture on the sign, when Morning Glory (I think that's its name) was running hot and steady.

A pity that even those people who go to such a natural park don't understand you can't just use those pools as a trash bin. Of all people, you'd expect better of those.
