The group gathers together preparing to venture out into the the dark fog. The man offering to guide you introduces himself as Bradly Hendale. Making a defensive formation around the incapacitated Paec being held up by Bradly. "We are almost to my house." Bradly whispers as you go down a hill. The whisper in the silent fog sounds like a shout however, and you clutch your weapon in preparation. Your fears are unfounded however as the image of a young woman standing in the glow of a lantern comes into view. "Bradly is that you? Are you alright?" Your feeling of security however is quickly dashed as the raspy voice in an unknown language can be heard in the darkness. Initiative and general walking formation info please (just front, right flank, rear, etc)

Howakhan would've walked to the left of Paec, close to him and the others, cause it would be all to easy to lose someone in this fog. Howakhan has his club in one hand, his symbol held up in the other, sometimes taking the effort to raise it and turn it in all directions, so as to ward of any unseen foes that could creep closer in the fogs. When he hears the unknown language being spoken, he again does so in the direction of the source of the voice, and readies his club against an advancing foe.

Perrin is running about, almost out of sight of the rest of them. Exploring in the deep fog, but always keeping everyone within eyesight. Upon hearing the voice in the fog he instantly perks tight as a fiddle, then quietly as only a halfling can he attempts to find the source. Init: [dice=20] +6=26

Bharash walks just behind Paec and Howakhan. Trying to stay vigilent but struggling in the fog.

[It worked for me too. By the way, what is the icon on J1?]
Howakhan turns around to face the source of the voice, but can see nothing through the mist. "There is something out there," he says, while looking at the place where he heard the voice come from.
Then, raising his voice, he spoke in common, hoping that it might understand him even if they could not: "Who goes there? Your speech is strange to us!"
He was not about to get any closer to it and leave those he had to guard behind. Much sooner would he run toward the place where they were going, to guarantee their safety.

In that case, Howakhan will also add to his companions: "Let us retreat to the house! We can better defend us there!"
And Howakhan will move there, if the others agree.

[Woah, sorry to not post, everyone. I didn't realize we'd moved to a new thread. My bad.]
Aurea decided to take up position to the right of Paec, guarding their charge from the right.
Aurea whirls toward the strange sound, Eldritch energy crackling in her hand. She nods at Howakhan's suggestion, beginning to back toward the door with the group, her eyes scanning the fog for signs of an enemy. [rand=5797029301593170613240216537316362108647181280299178375380768423]

[Whoops. I only just read this while logged in and read the whispered message to me. Normally I am lazy and only bother to log in if I want to post so had ot seen it before.
I guess from all your reactions the same thing was whispered to us all]
"Anyone know what it said?" Bharash asks "If not. Lets get these people indoors, then try and then try and find it."

Perrin continues to explore the fog and looks for the cause of the voice. Wandering about he loses sight of the party but he still knows the direction from his companion’s voices and the sound of the door being used. Trying to get a fix on whatever else is in the fog Perrin gets the errie feeling that he he’s been spotted, but only manages to hear the muffled cries of someone or something to his right.
The rest of the party rushes Bradly and Paec into the house and quickly try to decide if they secure the door or wait for Perrin.
OOC: I'm back - sorry for the delay.

After rushing Paec and and Bradly inside, Aurea turns to Bharash. "Come. Let us stand guard outside so that we can leave the door open for our halfling friend." She moves to the doorway, hoping that the Dragonborn agrees with her sentiment.

[Yeah, sometimes you gotta kick folks into action around here. No excuse for similar that I know of, but Vemu's out of town for another couple of days, I think. He should've posted here before leaving, of course...]

[Ok. I consider myself kicked]
Bharash agrees with Paec "I hope your eyesight is better then mine though."
Assuming there was still danger afoot Bharash follows Paec outside to see what was going off. It was no good the fog was too thick.
Hoping it would help Bharash conjures a bright light from nowhere and sends it out back and forth in a 4-5 square arch hoping to illuminate anything approaching.
[cast light spell at-will]

Perrin makes way by the illuminated doorway to the house. After peering into the fog and listening intently for a few, it appears whatever was nearby is gone (for now).
Bradly asks, "Do you think its safe to head out now?"
