"maybe" Bharash replies to Bradly. "If you are ready to continue lets go and find out."
Bharash follows in the direction he hopes the halfling scuttled in taking guidance from Bradly. He'll keep the light moving a few squares ahead hoping it will give them a bit more warning if there is something ahead of them.

Bradly guides you through the unfamiliar terrain. He warns you to stay on the path as you hear the crashing waves of the ocean below, you can only image the drop just outside of view. As you finally reach the entrance of the lighthouse you realize the sun is starting to break through and the fog is slowly dissipating.

[Sorry for not posting. I was out of town for some days as Udjat said.]
Howakhan, until now having followed the others silently, looks at the others for what to do as he stood at the entrance of the lighthouse. He could guess at the reason why these men of the city built such large towers that were to burn at the top, for he had seen the great ships that sailed past the dangerous shores. Obviously though, still being out of his element in the city, he asked: "Shall we enter and light the flame then? Perhaps it will still be of some use despite the fog dispersing and the sun rising."

"Yes. Lets enter. If we are quick we may catch the cowards who tried to take advantage of this fog still in there. Or at least find clues who they are."
If the others seem ready Bharash will accompany them into the light house.

The party approaches the door set into the stone tower of the lighthouse as bradly explains. "We don't exactly 'light' the lighthouse as you may expect. The keeper has a magical device known as the Moonlight Mirror that can shine brightly through amount of fog. Why it wouldn't be functioning is beyond me, I've only seen it once." As you open the door a man cowers on the stone steps inside, what you can see of his face and neck glistens with blood. "Its Mr. Wellington, the keeper of the lighthouse, Bradly explains." "No, NOO! You mustn't interfere!" You hear the wounded man shout frantically at your sight. "Just go away, please..."

"Interfere with what?" Howakhan's voice booms through the interior of the lighthouse as he steps inside, looking round somewhat puzzled, trying to see if there is anything amiss inside. These people of the city were acting very strangely. It only confirmed all the warnings he had been given by his tribesfolk before leaving them to go here.
He waited with stepping forward too much, but he was reaching out to heal the man's wounds. "Come to me and I will ease your suffering."

"You don't understand...." They have my daughter!" With that you notice two skeletons coming down the stairs in front of a strangely garbed goblin.

www.bluntaxe.com/files/moonhaven/lighthouse.pngmaybe this will help, if I don't hear from the other players by tomorrow I will do their action. I forgot the goblin on this screenshot and didn't feel like fixing it He's on the stairs in 0-I I didn't have a good easy way to handle stairs so I threw numbers on the squares to represent the level it spirals clockwise in an open area 1 to 11 shown, each level being a 5 foot difference so the goblin would be 30 foot up. The color changes behind you represent the cliffs going down to the coast (10 foot drop each color drop.).

OOC: So the skeleton on stair 4 is at the front then a gap then the goblin then another skeleton? Just wanting to check before decide which attack is most relevent.
Bharash wonders who this goblin may be and thinks back as to weither his robes mean anything.
[Arcana and religion check both at +8 to see if the goblins unusual clothing gives him any insight?]
"Halt goblin! what have you done with this mans daughter?" Intimidate [dice=20] +3
Init roll if needed: [dice=20] -1

"Dont think thats good." says Perrin
"Whuy do you mungle with these humans dragon-one? We've sumply taken the gurl as luttle uensurance."
[Arcana check] - The goblin wears what appears to be bits of the the shell of a giant scorpion often scavenged in the desert. The rod in his hand suggests he has a magical talent of some sort.
In the mist of the conversation Aurea gasps in pain as a blade finds its way into her back. {7 damage}. "Lookie boss, me got another hostudge!" comes a voice from another goblin you can only assume was lurking on the cliff edge. The group scrambles to defend themselves.
Aurea steps away from her adversary and quickly lets out a blast energy into the goblin's eyes. {6 damage} Aurea gives a bit of a sigh knowing the creature can no longer make out her image. {Aurea is invisible to that creature only}.
Perrin rushes through the door and unleashes a quick quarrel at the obvious leader. But is surprised to find the skeleton leap in the way of the attack, falling to a bone shattering smash before the halfling.
The goblin shaman lifts his rod and black bolt is the last thing Perrin sees as pain shoots through his body {7 damage, Blind - Save ends}. The goblin and his remaining skeleton bodyguard begins scurring up the stairs further.
Bharash summons a magehand to keep the tower's door open, so he wouldn't lose track of the goblin that seemed to have ignored his earlier intimidation. Seeing his companion in trouble he blasts the new enemy with ray of cold and is satisfied seeing the creatures joints begin to freeze up. {4 damage + slowed} {Sorry, I decided an action for you}
Perrin feels lucky or blessed, perhaps both, as he hears an arrow or some other projectile whiz past his ear in his blinded state.
Two more goblins join the fray, raining javelins down from the top of htelighthouse's balcony. Luckily none of the attacks find their marks. But Howahkan's Lance of Faith does, upon the would-be assassin. {+2 bonus goes to Aurea - 10 damage The goblin is now BLOODIED}
{Howahkan - I noticed I still had you at 9 hit points from the previous battle. I went ahead and assumed you used 1 healing surge between battles so you are up to 15 hit points}.

(grumble grumble) As Perrin goes blind for a second a slight squeel of fright slips from his lips then he remembers that most magics end when the caster dies... so he tries to bring that about by sending another shuriken to where the goblin stood. Now he should have like total concealment against me right? so i get like -5 to my attack roll? didn't include it. Sky Flourish [dice=20] +7=24
[dice=6] +8=11
