The Village of Moonhaven is a frontier town located in a small colony founded by the country of Torbia. The village is a costal town built where soft sandy beachs turn quickly to rocky cliffs. A recently constructed lighthouse on one such cliff alludes to the hope of making the village a major port someday. Far to the north are the Featherstone Mountains a forboding and unexplored mountain range. To the east are arid plains that gradually turn to sandy desert where many native tribes live nomadic lives. Far to the South are the draconic lands where dragonlords rule over a number of kingdoms, clans and tribes of Dragonborn.
Torbia, having been locked in fierce warfar for several years after the founding of the new colony, has for the most part 'forgotten' about it and Moonhaven. Despite this, the ancient ruins of past empires that has been discovered in this previously abandoned land has peeked the interest of many both from the home continent and even those 'local' (from the same continent). The thought of magical discoveries, religious texts, and the universal lure of gold has brought many seeking their fortunes. Being a frontier town with little in the way of a protective law, many can simply find their fortunes offering their services as guards.
