Life Change for Japic

Hey guys and gals; I just wanted to pop in and apologize for my less than awesome posting of late. I've been going through a life change of my own. While I'm not having a child and I'm not getting married I decided to go the other route.

I've been separated from my girlfriend of 6 years for about a month and we're going our separate ways. As of today I'm nearly moved out of the condo (what a hassle), and ready to move on with my life.

I know that 95% of you don't know my ex, and that this means next to nothing to you; but I just wanted to let everyone know about me hectic life.

To get the inevitable response out of the way I'll let you all know that I'm not too sad about the split and that I decided it was time to find someone who shared my life goals. In short; don't cry for me Argentina. All will be well just as soon as I get my life back on its feet.

Having just gone through an exceedingly similar sort of life change (mine was 4 years instead of 6) back in November... I completely understand. Including the last part there.

Take the time you need to get things ordered again. I know that can be rough, getting uprooted and resettled and such. Your decision sounds a lot like mine was--hard to make, but ultimately for the best. I wish you luck with as easy a transition as can be hoped for.

I won't cry for you, but it is unfortunate news. It's always a little difficult to swallow when someone says that they've broken up with someone they've been with for so long because I can't imagine how that must feel.

But if you say you'll be alright and that it's for the best, then I hope you truly feel that way and good luck and best wishes as you begin to move on and get your new life sorted out. And then I'll see you around on AIM and we can depress one another some more Good times.

It's unfortunate news, but good to hear that you are 100% behind your decision. I hope things will work out for you, and that you'll be able to move on quickly to pursue those life goals.
