I'm heading out of town tomorrow afternoon and won't be back until the weekend (7-29 thru 8-1). I'll try to update as best I can before I leave.
As some of you might be interested, I'll be spending the rest of the week at my brother's-- playing tabletop!!!!!
Actually, his new fiance has expressed interest in 'checking out' D&D. So, after lots of waiting, I'll be running a game for my brother and future sister-in-law, who's never played.
Here's to hoping I get a good roll on my Profession (Dungeon Master) check!!! ;D

Good luck with that, let me know how it goes.
I've never actually known a girl to be genuinely interested in playing D&D. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they're out there, but those few I know like myself just gave it a try because they felt bad for the guys who couldn't fill their groups or they hoped that by agreeing to try it would get the people who kept bugging them to play off of their backs.
Though I knew a few girls who were really into Vampire. . . go figure.

Good luck with that, let me know how it goes. I've never actually known a girl to be genuinely interested in playing D&D. Well I actually have some insite into this. I once was part of a local D&D convention. It was pretty cool. We met once a month about 40 ppl playing 6 to 8 games at a local restraunt in the party room. And surprisingly this is where i had my first siting of the rare and wonderous female d&d player. There was actually about 1 out of every 5 there that played was female. Most were older*/married so no chance of a hook up. but speaking to them and just talking I found out that most of them actually dragged there husbands into the game not the other way around. It was quite surprising....... of cours if your married and your wife says lets go role play........what guys not following her like a dog on a leash??? *by older i ment older than me. I was 15 at the time and all were to old to be interested......although they did ask why my parents let me stay out so late.
