I will be gone Wednesday the 11th to take my girlfriend to get her wisdom teeth removed. So no posts that day. On a side note, I told her she couldn't be a cleric cause now she'll be WIS-4... ...she didn't get it. I swear...non-roleplayers.

lol, good one, man. But she's a girl, her WIS was probably pretty low to begin with. Don't they have a racial mod of something like -6 WIS?

I forgot to mention this on the boards...pretty funny. When I went skiing last weekend, I was sitting on a chairlift, talking to this guy from San Jose. He was about 23 or so. Here is a transcript of our conversation: Guy: "Yeah, I've been lifting a lot at home, trying to increase my Strength...or get stronger, I suppose." Wizard: "...(Tight, I'm lifting for volleyball too, what I said here is beside the point)" Later on lift: Guy: "I really need to work on my Dexterity when I'm skiing, you know? Like, I'll see a mogul, and I just can't manage to avoid it!" Wizard:...(same thing) Guy: "Like, the other day, I hit a tree with the side of my board and went down. Got bruised all over. I've got a strong Constitution, though, so I healed quickly." Wizard(thinking: No way is this coincidence.): Hold on a second. Why did you choose those particular words? Guy: What? Wizard: Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution. You said them like they had capital letters. Why? Guy: ................................You play too? Wizard: Yeah! (What follows is a pathetic conversation on the pros and cons of the 3.5 ranger vs. the 3.0 ranger) But it was pretty amazing, I thought.

Perhaps, but as guys we have racial mods like "+6 to Bluff" so that when we speak of a girls -6 to WIS, we can still get laid. Anyways, I digest... I've run into that too Wiz, where you're talking to someone and you just get the feeling that they play... I've even been approached at the D&D section in the bookstore by other players. They usually try to talk about 3.5 rangers or other rules problems. I just politely excuse myself and leap off the lift. No, I like talking to other players, but moreso about fun adventures, or good times during playing. Not so much on the rules aspect of it..but without those that know the rules, where would I be?

I've noticed that it's ike being in a secret society, or some James Bond movie. You know, work in certain words into everyday convesation and see what reaction you get. Like, "Gosh I reall saved myself when I fell down that hill. I could've been hurt!"
Or, "I failed on my attempt to look around, and skiied into the tree..."

Or when you talk about your skills and abilities, rather than talents and personal traits.
