As Sar disputes the existence of Bugbears, Pandoro searches for a way to restrain the unconscious Crooknek.
Crooknek has on him a set of keys. Pandoro remembers a set of manacles which his band of adventurers uncovered in another room.
One of the keys is a perfect match, and Pandoro fastens the manacles around Crooknek's wrists.
A rest is taken. All seems quiet in this part of the caves.
In the morning, or what could be the morning, it is too dark to tell, everyone awakes, a bit more refreshed than before.
Balen stirs, as does crooknek.
Though Crooknek appears a bit more worse for the wear.
He notes the bonds on his wrists.
"Please, don't kill me. . . don't kill me. Have mercy. You can have my phat lewt. he glances over at a pile of gold, a treasure map, and a few pieces of jewelry.
"I didn't kill him, So don't kill me." Crooknek glances at Balen as he pleads with the adventurers to set him free.
-There is still a door in the northeast portion of the room. -Elmont Kinfeld still waits in his chamber.

"Hmmmm. All right- but only if you agree to return to a life of banditry and evil. Got to provide for the next generation of adventurers, you know."

Balen struggles to his feet, head a little muddled but overall feeling much better. The sight of a big ol' pile of gold seems to improve his demeanor greatly.
"Whoa, looks good!" With the bug-boy bound on the floor, Balen makes his way to the lewts to take inventory. "Hey, where does that door in the far wall go? Got anymore lewts back there?"

Balen examines the gold.
About 350 gold coins if the barbarian had to guess. A pretty good haul. Not to mention a golden anklet in good condition. Could be worth something. There is also a scrollcase which holds a map. It is marked, "TREASURE MAP" and an X marks the spot where the treasure is expected to be.
It would appear that Crooknek hasn't gotten around to searching out the hidden loot.
When asked about the other door to the north Crooknek cooperates.
"That's the prisoners. They never shut up so I. . . uh, they're in there. You got the keys now. You can let them out. Though maybe you don't want to." the supposed bugbear says with a shake of his head and a grim expression on his face.

Morning prayers:
"O great and muscular Kord, thank you for letting us woop ass and clean house. This puny hobgoblin and his dragon booger minions never new what hit them.
I humbly and with flexed bicep ask for your gracious healing because my teamates keep catching of fire and getting stabbed and such.
Please heal buffman Balen who, I think, never got to rage because Crookhead wacked him in the belly and knocked him out like a ogre smacking a pixie.
And please heal scrawny Sar who can kick some serious butt but he keeps catching on fire every half hour.
And please heal me because I'm your humble servant and I've dedicated more than ten thousand situps to you. Heh, just kidding, you know I can't count that high. I don't know the exact amount, but it must have been a lot because I got these awesome abs. I dedicate them to your greatness!"
Pandoro proceeds to flex his six pack in Kord's honor.

"Hmm. I don't suppose the villagers would be too pleased if we left all these prisoners to rot. Don't worry Crooky, I won't let 'em harm you"
Balen makes his way across the room with the keys, and opens the door to free the prisoners. "Right, everyone file into the other room and sit down. We've got to determine where ya'll are from."
