Springing into battle, perhaps a bit too quickly, Pandoro heaves his shortbow in the direction of the strangers to demonstrate that he means business. Unfortunately, the spear falls a few feet short of it's mark. Kord was never big on ranged attacks anyway. Corvus moves in for a closer look (can get about to here, keeping in mind that aside from 5 ft steps, diagonals count as more than 5 ft of movement each so I tried to get you as close as possible to intended destination.) He finds that here the floors are covered in debris as well. The sarcophagus is busted up. It is difficult to determine who or what may have rested there as the elf sees only piles of dust and shattered bone. Sar attempts to take the creatures by surprise with his bow, but the arrow misses by mere inches. One of the creatures rushes headlong for the large group. It resembles some sort of humanoid, but a lot is wrong about it, mostly it looks like it is dead set on ripping our heroes' eyes out with long jagged fingernails. The next strange, unkemp, and filthy creature heads for Corvus, hoping for a chance to sink yellow teeth into elf flesh. Rillem attempts to act but finds his companions to be blocking his dagger's path. He moves up and attempts to throw not PBS range, -6 for range increments The dagger finds its mark and embeds itself into the ragged creature's leg (2 dmg E3) The remaining creature advances on the large group as well. A little late to the party, Balen finally shows up. He squares off against the nearest threat, its greasy hair and redrimmed eyes shining in Pandoro's torchlight. The glare proves to be too much for the barbarian and he whiffs his swing. All is quiet on the western front. [That works - I probably should've used 'squares' instead of feet, since I was already factoring in the 1.5 for diagonals.]
Per his crafty plan, Corvus heads for the one "humanoid" that drifted away from its buddies. Hopefully it will suffer more for straying from its friends than he will. [25' E, Attack.]

Sickened by the disgusting state of the cavedweller's hair, Balen attempts to "take a little bit off the top" with a vigorous swing of his axe.

Kill kill kill kill The battle rages on. . . Pandoro charges the vile devil spawn stading before him, noting that the halfling had already left a small bruise on the thing. The charge clearly pays off and his spear plunges into the belly of the gruesome thing. Chunky brownish black blood spills from the wound. The creature looks to be on its last legs, but that only means it might live to get a full attack. Corvus moves foward to confront the threat. His longsword strikes true, and though he does not take the diseased man out of the fight, he does spill blood, or whatever the thick and blackened stuff seeping from the wound is supposed to be. Sar takes no action this round The creature which Balen finds himself in combat with lashes out, first bringing a set of sharp teeth at the barbarian in an attempt to rip out a huge chunk of flesh. [dice=20]+2 Balen manages to evade the teeth, but the creature came equipped with jagged nails for a reason. It attempts to rake Balen's face. [dice=20] [dice=20] Neither claw manages to find its mark. Corvus is faced with a bite claw claw of his own to try to dodge. [dice=20] Fortunately for all involved, Wicksy can't calculate AC and the bite misses. Still the nails come, attempting to gouge out the elf's eyes. [dice=20] [dice=3] [dice=20] One claw puts a gash in Corvus's cheek. The touch is ice cold and sends deathly chills down the ranger's spine. Fortunately, elves are immune to being cold, so Corvus stands tall. Rillem, no action. (we must keep going) Pandoro's foe lays into the Favored Soul with a -2 to AC from charging [dice=20]+2 The creature strikes on the nose, it's teeth actually moving to pry the noble adventurer's nose from his face. (i was waiting on the creatures to move to see if i could move for the flank, but oh well)
Seeing Pandoro suddenly freeze with Fear, Rillem knew he had to try to distract the beast.
Move 10 ft above Pandoro and attack #2 with my dagger still in hand, fighting Defensively.

The only person who moved that round was Pandoro. You'd have to use a double move and provoke AoOs to flank. Besides, at this point, Rillem is pretty sure that sneak attack isn't going to be very effective on these things. I'll just move you and you can get to attack this round coming up.

Uhh... I can't flex my muscles! Tricepts? Bicepts? Deltoid, pec, quads, peroneus longus, brevis? Dorsi, gluteus, soleus? Little toe muscle? Nooooooooooooooooo! This can't be. This must be what the 9th plane of hell is like. Help, help O Kord, my muscles have forsaken me!
For Pandoro, this is indeed a fate worse than, du-du-du-dum, death.

"I am so lithe and graceful! You rotting... rotten things can't touch me! Except for that once, I mean." Corvus does a very elf-like spin and slashes at the creature again, hoping to fell its rotteness.
'Cause that's just what elves do, dammit.

The fact that Balen's opponent completely failed to hit him doesn't improve his demeanor at all. In fact, it's embarrassing that he hasn't already chopped him down to size yet. His hair almost standing on end with fury, Balen takes another swing at the creepy-crawly dungeon thing.

(You guys are hi-larious) I think TTC is around. We'll give him some time, if he doesn't post, We can assume that he moves and shoots like usual unless someone has something more effective for him to do. (At this rate, maybe in three rounds Pandoro may actually have something left to attack ) I'm gonna say that Pandoro is able to hold on to what he is carrying, torch and spear. He's just frozen in a heroic pose right now.

Judging from my luck lately, these weirdoes will have a pyromaniacal surprise ready for me if I get too close. I'd better keep my distance. [dice=20]+2 [dice=8][dice=6] While Sar manages to put a little distance between him and whatever eldritch horrors have robbed Pandoro of his beautiful muscles, he trips over a loose rock in the process, sending a crossbow bolt ricocheting off the ceiling to stick quite nicely upright in his backpack.[rand=1452517736312940434392715891156444349570363136649634512287234569537]
