In my constant web surfing and searching, I've come across a site that will benifit those with a cell phone with WAP capability. (Wireless internet)
If you have cell phone that can surf the Wireless Web and want free ringtones, pictures and java applications go to:
tagtag.com
You can surf on your PC, find a ringtone, pic or application and each of these has a numberic code attached to it. Write down that code and then surf to the site on your phone. You enter the code and BAM!! You're able to download that item. It's 100% free but sometimes you have to retry connecting several times before it'll go through.
Anyways, just thought you guys might like to know. Not sure how many of you have WAP phones, but never hurts to share info.

You know what would be really helpful? A phone with speech-to-text capability that provided full access to this site. I'd pay a lot for that...

Voice recognician systems can be pricey. I know that you can get software for your home PCs, it's possible that the technology could work alright for a cell too. Then again, it may take up way too much memory.
I dunno.

They come close with voice recognition dialing...but that's about it.
My older phone Japic, the several hundred dollar one could store up to 30 voice tags with it. It was kinda cool cause I could say "Home" and it would dial.
That's as close as I could get with voice recog.

Aw hell, the phone I have currently will do that.. and it didn't cost hundreds of dollars either. I'm not certain of how many tags I can store, I haven't used any of em in over a year.

Consider how easy it would be if the technology were simple, cheap, and effective, however. I could post here while driving to school, rather than wearing my fingertips down for an hour or so every day. ;D

You know what'd be awesome technology. A cell phone that actually was able to both send and receive calls without breakng up every three seconds. Such a thing would be the Holy Grail of engineering, but I think it's just a legend.
