I don't mean to butt in here, but you can still play Igor if you'd like. Basically all that happened is that he got reset to a new character, so the next person to play him would get 200 gold to start them on their way. You'd just have to buy Igor new stuff before heading back out into the world.
Your choice, of course. I just thought I'd put my two bits in here.
