Every once in a while I would send Kman a PM. In it, I would thank him for establishing this site and providing me with endless hours of thrilling entertainment-- all for free! I again feel the need to express my gratitude and continued delight for his creation. Given his absence from the boards though (we still see you lurkin' now and again, Kman , I've decided to convey my appreciation here, to everyone who helps keep this thing running. THIS SITE KICKS ASS!!! I’m having a blast! And though small, this community is chock full of great players and GMs, intriguing stories and interesting character and story dynamics, and a diverse selection of games in which to participate. The tales from these games are as genuine and memorable as any tabletop game I’ve played- I find myself eagerly awaiting updates from GM and player alike. Here’s to Kman, and the continued prosperity of our own little gaming room in the basement of the internet! Game on!!!! Bad*

While I've only been on this site for a very short time, and I am not as polished a role-player/play by post as some other I do agree with you that this site is awesome. Its basically my hour or so of vacation from the real world before bed.
And also I'm gonna say thanks to the GM's of all my games on here. I find myself being able to picture everything as it happens and it's truely like being there myself. And I really wish I'd have gotten to play a Kman GM'ed game or two or at least had talked to the guy a few times but alas I could not and so Shakes, Udjat, VK, and Bad* games will have to do to quinch my thirst for adventure.
And thanks for being open and welcoming to a new guy.
And yes Game On!!!
but first "Mom we need more pizza rolls down here!!!!!"

Wow, that's nice.
I think I've said it many times before, I probably would have forgotten how to write and create by now if it weren't for this site.
The community here is wonderful and each of us is responsible in one way or another for keeping KMans up and running. If we're having fun that's definitely a good sign and hopefully our community will continue to grow little by little and we can still be PbPing for a long time to come, or at least until that zombie apocalypse that they've been talking about.
I've certainly been enjoying my time here. It's kind of like my little home away from home (sans Mountain Dew) online considering how we start to get to know everyone and await posts and updates from our fellow players and DMs.
To everyone, keep up the good work and make sure that you're having fun here because it's contagious.
(Also, doing all of this writing and reading is informative, especially now that my browser automatically spell checks. I never knew how many words I've been spelling incorrectly for all these years. It's scary.)

That's quite an awesome proclamation, Bad*. For my part, shoot, I don't know what I'd have done without this place. Gone insane, maybe. I've met a lot of cool folks, some of whom I've gone on to meet in person and hang out with, and developed a number of excellent stories through the years. I feel I've helped refine my writing techniques around here. Most importantly, this place gave me an outlet for community gaming when it has been SO HARD trying to get anything to happen in person. This November it'll have been 6 years since I stumbled across this place. I recently came across one of my first posts, actually, and it was kind of hilarious/nostalgic/embarrassing/cool. Everyone changes over the years, and this place--and the people here--has surely played a role in my own personal development. (Shakes, I find the new spell-checking software cool, too... and I, too, notice words I've been spelling wrong for ages)

K amns is a great site! I got told of this place by a mate who signed up for WLD telling me of these crazy characters - in particular the kobold thief ;D He came and went a few times but i've stayed....played some good games and sucked at being a DM here too!
We ought to do a facebook page if there's other people from here on there.
