Background
Gerard was raised in a family that believes strongly in the supernatural. Even as a young boy he was raised to believe. His family claimed that they themselves were direct descendants from a werewolf clan. Even though no one in their family had changed in many generations, his father could still speak with spirits. One day, during which Gerard was a witness, Gerard's father was trying to convince a difficult spirit to leave the area and not having much success at it. The spirit turned cruel and started attempting to possess his father. As he witnessed this transgression Gerard couldn't control his anger, and suddenly he was shifting. He remembers seeing his fathers body with another image superimposed over it, an image that one cant quite describe with words, but the horror of it was quite easy to convey. Gerard woke up the next day in his own bed, covered in blood. Walking through his home he finds to his horror that his entire family had been slaughtered by some beast... Before long he found that he himself was the beast. Useing all the lore he and his family had collected over the years Gerard searched for others of his kind to aid him in learning to control himself, having found them he joined with the Bone Shadows.

Just to let you know Crescent Moon gifts are affinity gifts for your character as an Ithaeur, meaning they cost New Dots x5.

For a rank 1 gift it would cost 5 XP.
For a rank 2 gift (in which you already have the rank 1) it would cost 10 XP.

If you buy the 2nd rank without buying the first, it costs 13 XP (10 XP for the normal cost, +3 for skipping rank 1).

For 2 more XP, you can actually buy both the rank 1 crescent moon gift AND the rank 2 gift. So, if you'd like to buy both the rank 1 and rank 2, that would cost you 15 XP, giving you Two-World Eyes AND Read Spirit.
