Looking at these results I find it intersecting that every one here has such high scores. The average person has an IQ between 80 and 120 the mean being set at 100. Now it could vary well be that those prone to the gaming realm are above average IQ, but it makes one wonder. ;D

Well, I don't trust the tickle test that much anyway---I think they've a vested interest in not offending their potential customers. However, I opine very strongly that gamers are more intelligent than the average bear---probably the average human, too.

I believe the cut-off is actually 70 for the mentally disabled...not sure, though. I'll have to check my psych textbook.

And the objective IQ has been increasing from generation to generation over the century. This can't be genetic---100 years is way too short a time for evolution to take place in humans. Therefore, it must be environmental. Current theories point to a growing exposure to testing, better health care and sanitation, better education, and a general rise in intellectual stimulation (despite the maleveolent influence of television) as the causes behind the rise, which is called the Flynn effect.

Wow. I should crack that textbook open more often!

I don't trust those things...
A year or two ago, I took a battery of seperate IQ tests...three of them.
One put my intelligence as average, one as severely retarded, and one as super-genius...had the scorers in fits of laughter when I picked it up...

Well most of these IQ tests are flawed, some more than the others, the most obvious flaw of this one is that it is language dependant, and it has several questions that do not measure intelligence but general knowledge which is cultural and cannot be used in an international test of any kind.
