...I do have news.

Goodness only knows how this will effect my (already minimal) status here, but I figured it was time to share my news.

I'm going to be a father.

Yup, there it is. I'm going to be working double hard to earn money and provide for my family, so I may (may) be taking a leave of absence around here. I'm frankly hoping that things will miraculously work out and the money will come easy. If so, I may get more time to post instead of killing myself daily. If not, then I'll get another job and die entirely. Time will tell.

So yeah. Baby is due in April.

Hey congratulations! I myself just had a kid not too long ago (he's two months old) so I can completely sympathize with you. It's a lot of work, but trust me, the first time you see him/her smile it'll all be worth it.

Do you plan to find out what gender the baby is, or were you planning to wait?

Also, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I know I'm not the only parent on the site, so we can help answer nagging questions that you might have.

Wow, Japic, that's awesome, congratulations! Though don't go to me for parenting advice, but yeah, I know there's lots of Kman babies and little people around by now. Some day, who knows, they'll take over this place.

Thanks all, though in all honesty, we've decided to wait to find out the gender. There's something special about that moment when the doc looks up and says "It's a ..."

Hopefully we can maintain the mystique.

Congratulations! Not sure what else to say that hasn't already been covered, except that April is an excellent month to be born in. Try to avoid the first, though.

I guess next year is a good year to plan on dropping in on you Denver folks after all.
