Hi all,

After a long long hiatus (several years I think at least) I was hoping to come back and maybe join in a game or two. How is everyone?

It's been very quiet around here of late. There are a couple of games active though.

Hey Lekorr, good to see you again. Haven't seen you around since Uttati Asfet.

I'm going to hi-jack your thread a bit and announce that I'm back too. Summer classes have been intense, but they've just finished. My family has hit a rough patch health-wise. But I'm back now and hopefully I'll be able to ease my way back into a game or two.

Maybe we can get a CoC game going again.

I would be up for a CoC game. I had lots of fun with the last one but it sort of petered out. I guess we will see how things go and who is up for what.

Would anyone be up for a Call of Cthulhu game? I have tried talking my real life D and D group into it but they don't seem terribly interested.

I know of 3 main versions of it, the original % based one from the 80's 90's (I think). The D20 version (I own the book for this). And there is also Cthulhu Tech which is a sci-fi CofC game which is rather interesting and quite different. I have never run a CofC before so I would be reluctent to try to start one up but I would love to play. I think I could talk my wife into playing as well.

I also just realized I can spell Cthulhu from memory.... creepy.

Would you be interested in trying to run The Sanatorium again? I saw it in the call for players but it never seemed to get off the ground. Myself, At and my wife (if I can talk her into it ) would give you 3 players.

Sure, even two is fine really if you can't convince her. I'll shoot Udjat a private message to see if his schedule has freed up enough to get him in on it because he was the only person looking into it. But even so I can run it with 2. It wouldn't start until at least next week though, since I'm not near any of my books.

That would be awesome! I will do a BRP CoC character up tonight. I found a quick start guide which seems to make designing a character super easy.

I am thinking a chemistry professor with an interest in brain chemistry would be fun to mess around with for this scenerio. Especially since he likes the sauce

Hello this is Lekors wife and I would love love love to get in on this game. I am new to pbp stuff but eager to learn and have some fun.
Lekor sugested that I post my character here and see if that would be cool with you.

I was thinking of a faded actress, she would be in her mid 40's and hasn't worked in a while. She suffers from insomnia and has not been about to funtion in a show for some time . She is a tad OCD when stressed out. Her agent has sugested that she seek out this man with "different" methods in a last dich effort to get her life back together.

She sound like a she would work? If so I will write her up.

I reopened the thread in the campaign status board. You can post any questions and character ideas there. I have the opening invite there for one character (likely Lekor's since it seems he will be going the doctorly path). Plus the increased activity on the thread might draw someone else.

I'll also post character creation rules there.
