As I'm planning and plotting the continuity of Kman's epic game, now is a good time to fill the ranks with any players lurking around who might be interested in joining in.
Please post here if you're interested. Best case scenario has interested parties familiar with the game, but this is not strictly necessary. Check out the GFYD section of the board for information on the game's backstory.

Gro-Bug is with me I already figured all the existing players were still playing--all those that have voted, anyhow.

Can I start a second character? I like playing on both teams. Ok, so not really, I just had a smartass response that I didn't want taken seriously. I can handle one, but two is out of my league. I had more trouble once upon a time, not gonna happen again.

Alright, alright, enough smartassery from you, sir. I don't see anybody chomping at the bit to play, so I'll consider this more or less a closed matter. Will leave the thread up in case any late-comers want to hop on board, but otherwise I think it's past time to get things back on the road. ...But I need to read the past few threads to remember what the Green team is doing, lol.

I wish you luck with playing out that ugly giant harassing Natsumi in the same kind of disgusting way that apparently Kman could excel in for some reason.

LAST CALL FOR PLAYERS!!!
I am working on a game post as we speak. Any new characters would need to be added shortly thereafter, so if you want to join in, now's the time!

I finally had some time to read some of the threads for this game... WOW! The characters are great and the plot is interesting, I see why you all wanted to keep playing.
I'd be interested in joining (if it's not too late), though there may be some complications...
I'd like to make a new character, but I seems like you could use a player to take over an existing PC (with Udjat NPCing two). My issue is that I dont' think I know enough of the existing story to RP effectively.
Comments?

It would obviously be preferrable to have somebody take over an NPC I'm running as opposed to jumping in with a new character. Wanderer is my top pick (I actually got a response from Bug while hunting for Ryngo, so there may be some movement on that front), since he will be 100% NPC'd unless somebody takes him. The best way to know the situation is obvious to read through it, but damn that's a lot of reading to go through. I can understand hesitance on that front. And taking over someone's character is always taking over someone's character--like me taking over the game, it will never be quite like it was before. But that said, I am perfectly open to the prospect of you taking over Wanderer and developing him in new and interesting ways. I can give you an idea of how I imagine him as he is now and what important events in the campaign made him the way he is (as well as elements from his background), and let you run with it from there. Since characters are supposed to develop, grow, and change throughout a campaign, I'm not upset about the idea of you taking him different places. So let me know if you're interested. I realize he may not be a very exciting build in that he's pretty much a straight-up melee fighter with some options for Combat Expertise and Power Attack, but I've found him to be a fun play. Maybe you'll even get along better with Gildas! If you really want to make a new character, though, I can try to be amenable to that. It's just not my preferred route.

All you need to know to play Wanderer correctly is: behave disrespectfully toward proper authority, do not reason in a logical fashion, never listen to Gildas and become violent when he makes a good point, but do it all in a way that looks cool and somehow even manages to arouse sympathy. Or you could just give him a twist and always listen to Gildas.

Just make him listen to Gildas once or twice and watch for the boulders... then you can make a new character:P

What do you think, Rojito? Who would make for a better song according to Sean? Wanderer or Gildas? I figured that you might as well start thinking up one for then you have something ready when we finally meet, and you can boast that you know all about us even before we met. After all, the dwarves must've dropped a hint or two of our bold adventures, no?

Except for that one in the hat. Always muttering about crones and fate." Why make a story about one or the other when the pair of them are a hilarious epic poem all on their own? I still hold out hope that Team Red will one day function like a unified group, however. It could happen!

ANOTHER CALL FOR PLAYERS
So here's the skinny, folks. Team Red is down to two players (VemuKhaham and Fangor) and Team Green is a little slim on ideas and enthusiasm. These are sad signs. We also don't have a whole lot of games going on around here, so I'm opening the game up to new players.
Team Red is in an excellent place to pick up new players, and they need 'em bad. An affiliation of any kind to the Temple of St. Cuthbert is a plus. There are a metric ton of NPCs that could be portrayed as well.
Team Green can even have a new player or two, even though they've got a solid crew of four. I wouldn't object to someone picking up Henrick and playing him, either. Some new blood might be good for things around here.
Let me know if anyone's interested. Knowledge of the game or its predecessor is not required to join in.
