The group is forced to duck as a hail of small rocks and sticks fly overhead, but it's only a distraction as the pygmies rush forwards and spread out starting to circle the tower, the closest barely 10 feet away taking advantage of it's small stature to duck behind a bush.
Two pygmies appear to be trying to spark something with flint while others struggle to unlimber primative shields from their backs. Vadania can see at least one of them chewing vigorously on a root she knows causes violent hallucinations...
Madaline continues trying to shout down the pygmies, while they seem to care little for her words it does take the edge off their peculiar chattering.

Darrian attempts to recall any mention of such creatures in his studies or travels in hopes of knowing the best creature to call to his aid.

Darrian then casts Summon Monster I in the path of pygmies charging towards him.

Just confirming my mental image of the tower: As I understand it, the walls are circular, stone, and the only ground floor opening is the doorway. And the floors above are gone, so the tower is open to the sky.
How high are the walls (or how high to windows the pigmies could fit though?) I'm trying to figure out why they would be circling the entire tower instead of just the doorway.
I'm guessing that they're going to try smoking us out, but since the tower is open on top, I don't think that would work well.

It was a hit, I didn't think you'd killed it but then I remembered the bardsong damage)A large shining golden St Bernard dog flashes into existence infront of Darian ... not quite what he had hoped for but big enough. The wounded pygmy that Vadania had hit finally collapsed, the others taking more heed of the arrows and sheltering from the elves next shot. Something in the hands of the pygmies with the flint begins to hiss and sparkle alarmingly as their companions complete the encirclement of the tower. One of the root chewing pygmies lets out a cry and his companions begin pounding the ground with their spears and shields chanting "Gorignak! Gorignak! Gorignak!"(The pygmies chanting reduces the benefits gained from Madalines bardsong to only +1)25 - Ka'lion <---- next to act 19 - Celestial dog 13 - Pygmies 12 - Madaline 9 - Ylva & Vadania 7 - Darrian & Aelos

"Thanks for the rocks." says Ka'lion with a smile. He had said it was a bad idea to be inside of the tower during an attack. He just hoped he'd get the chance to say he told them so. The rock brains one of the pygmies lurking nearby, he falls and does not get up.
The rest appear to be readying their big assault - the party can sense that their position is about to be overrun.
[Tag all] - (Ka'lions action was resolved prior to the chanting, everyone now has one action before the charge, post in any order)

Ka'lion slings again targeting one of the fire builders. Can you describe the tower again? I'm confused on how the pigmies are going to overrun us in what I thought was a fortified location where they could only approach from one entrance.

The tower is old, much of the wall around the original entrance has collapsed though the stability of the tower does not appear to have been compromised.
A doorway, the door long gone, on the back wall opposite the main entrance leads to what would have once been a smaller side building but which is now no more than scattered rubble. The walls to either side of the tower still stand firm though they could be scaled from the outside.
The tower has no roof, though it does have a basement of sorts beneath the side building - unless the pygmies want to climb they can only enter from two directions, but perhaps their plan is to force you out...

I thought Darrian is inside the tower, and the celestial dog was summoned in front of him with the pygmies outside the entrances. The celestial dog will move where he is guarding one of the doors and hold his attack for the first pygmie that tries to enter.

Darrian pulls the crossbow he has slung over his shoulder to the ready and loads it, determined to slay a few pygmies with his conventional weapon and save the rest of his magical talents for dire circumstances.
He hopes his new canine friend can keep the pygmies at bay, but if not, there is the barbarian, the wolf, and his trusty arcane armor while it lasts.
I thought readying and loading a light crossbow is all he can do in a round. He will fire at a pygmie as well if he can.
