It's good to know that the assumption is that we're always looking and listening. That especially fits for Vadania, who's paranoid about being ambushed again (that's why her spot and listen are so high). I'm just not as prompt to send the rolls.
Are the skeletons animating in just the 3rd chamber, or are they also animating in the second chamber?

Looking about Vadania can see that some of the skeletons have already risen to their feet in the shadows of the first chamber - likely as they were further from the seal. Those closer still struggle to crawl from the vaults along the walls, easy targets but the tomb likely contains hundreds of such skeletons and the elf does not know how many the magic might raise.

OK, so those behind us are more ready to fight than those in front of us. What's the skeleton situation in the second chamber, where we are?
Also, what room is the crack in the floor in (escape tunnel)?

The crack is in the first chamber, as are the controls for the door mechanism. Vadania can see several standing skeletons, some armed.
Those in the the current chamber have crawled from the vaults and are standing but are considered prone targets this turn, unable to make AoOs.
Those in the third chamber have yet to fully rise.

Rough counts of how many in each room please. Especially in the second chamber, how many skeletons have animated? And are more tombs opening in the second chamber?
Specifically, I'm trying to determine if this is just a few that we can fight, or if we'll soon be swarmed and our only hope is to fight our well to the rift and try to escape. If it is only a few of the bodies animating, Vadania would be inclined to stay to see if Aelos can repair the seal in some way.

Rough counts of how many in each room please. Vadania cannot see a great deal of the first or third chamber from her position, however only the third chamber contains actual tombs, the remaining two have vaults cut into the walls - simple holes where bodies have been laid. The tomb must contain several hundred such bodies. There are a dozen animated skeletons in the second chamber that have crawled free of their vaults but Vadania can see more moving.

Once Darrian has the sunrod out and active, he will want to retrieve his crossbow, handing off the sunrod to whomever can take it so it illuminates the room and he can use his weapon. As he can see very well what is going on, he knows he will need a weapon in a matter of moments.
I changed my reply as I missed the last few posts about how many skeletons there are.

"Put away your crossbow. What you need is something that can do some damage and you don't want to run out of bolts. I don't think a tiny hole in the head going do anything. Try to take the heads off to make a difference. Does anyone see where the bats are flying off to? We need an escape route and the bats seem to be the only ones that know where one is." said the Kid
I'm still waiting for you to tell me where the bats are going? I have a 22 on the spot roll.

"The bat's escape hole would be the rift in the floor in the first chamber," answered Vadania. "But there are a lot of skeletons between us and the rift, and still more are animating."

"Then we are sitting ducks staying here. It's time to fallow the bats out - besides if we can't fix the seal the only chance the outside world has is sufficient warning." said Ka'lion

Darrian yells back, "I am sorry, but not all of us carry an arsenal. I have very few weapons of any use I am fairly sure, but at least my bolt supply is larger than my memorized spells for the remaining day.
Darrian guesses that his crossbow won't do much to whatever they are facing, some sort of animated dead he assumes, but he has few spells that are much better.

"Try to get back to the first chamber," suggested Vadania. Following action to words, she moves toward the entrance to the third chamber while throwing a pebble at a skeleton in the way. [dice=20]+6= 14 to hit [dice=6][dice=6]+2= 8 damage vs. undead
Ylva snaps at the leg of one of the skeletons near Vadania, trying to grab the leg and then shake it apart. [dice=20]+3= 5 to hit [dice=6]+1= 4 damage [dice=20]+1= 4 to trip[rand=35203110799193383506095206830650653607314568944286162775394041091]

Ka'lion continues to hold his attack, he'll behead any skeletons that try to block the parties way. The group move together to the entryway between the two chambers, for each skeleton they knock down two more rise up to take their place. Darrian catches a glimpse of a golden sword rising from one of the tombs in the backmost chamber before rounding the corner into the entry room.
There are perhaps 30 skeletons standing, eight of them between you and the crack in the floor (25 feet away), and five of those armed. A couple lurch at the group as they pass but Ylva ducks away and Aelos's armour is too thick for them.

The skeleton is driven back momentarily by the blow, but then straightens and resumes its advance - the prior skeleton had collapsed on impact, clearly the power animating them was growing stronger.

"Hows your singing voice?" asked Ka'lion trying to remember the bards tune to improve the parties ability to fight.

"Keep moving before we get swamped by skeletons," suggested Vadania. Vadania continues moving towards the rift while throwing another of her magic stones at one of the armed skeletons. [dice=20]+6= 14 to hit [dice=6][dice=6]+2= 9 damage vs. undead
Ylva again snaps at the leg of one of the skeletons near Vadania, trying to grab the leg and then shake it apart. [dice=20]+10= 5 to hit [dice=6]+1= 7 damage [dice=20]+1= 11 to trip[rand=364294800674542882841812539845744305243925191465604916983284056]
