lately i've noticed that there are pop ups here. kman, what do you have to say for yourself?  is there any way you can block them? it's your forum, you know. ;D |

You probably have spyware- I haven't noticed anything.

Celebril...yeah, the boards are clean man. Even if they were pop-ups that are Proboards generated, I'd have to pay to remove them...which I would do. If they were mine. But I would say, your computer caught something. I recommend the google pop-up blocker: Found here.And for removal of mean things on your PC, I recommend the Spybot, Search and Destroy Software. Found here for PCs.{MACs you have to look elsewhere on that site, www.download.com.} Best of luck fighting it buddy. |

I will dito what K-Man said. The google pop-up blocker and spy-bot are both nice, free, must-haves for anyone running windows.

Yah, I definately agree with the google toolbar. Not only does it allow me to search in a flash it has blocked 507 popups since I installed it on this machine.
