" Um guys not to worry you all, and i kinda think its nothing but there is a goblin in bright colors out there just standing around. Can't say i very fond of them nor do i trust them but i can't tell what this one is up 2. Goblins normally hid not stand out for they like to ambush. So far she looks harmless, but with goblins you never know what they will do til they do it. Any ideas? you know what nm its not important nor my issue at this time. I trust the guards will arrest her if she tries anything. i would like it if you hurry up so i can get some sleep, and yes interrupting u takes longer i know, so ill stop, please carry on." Hearing mention of a goblin, Harknail came to the door and looked out. Seeing the goblin he waved as he called out " Good day Sart". The goblin turned back to look, then waved at the cloaking construct before continuing along her way. Harknail explained, " That be Sart, the only goblin to survive when her tribe stole Moonhaven's magic lighthouse mirror. When she be told to surrender, she dideth. She be a slave now. We tried to set her free, but she refuseth to go. Methinks she feareth for her life on her own. She speaketh not common."

Meanwhile Curuvar the Brazen looked up from the books he was inspecting and said, "Yes, these will do nicely. The book is yours."
OOC: Sorry for the long delay, work has been crazy busy.

Barbatos exchanges the books and looks out to Zem, "so when do we leave?"[rand=26733704514014256740654600606126601477753273339266221999119623137386]

thank you for explaining that to me Harknail. what you told me puts my mind to a bit of ease. I wish i could do more for her but i don't know what i could do. May Kord watch over her.
hear the news they can leave turns and (Grins and in a joking voice) 15 mins ago, using all the moon light when we could be using it to sleep in a comfy bed. using a more mellow vice but honestly we should get a good nights sleep and head off to the inn now. we have a long trip a head and sleep is much needed. Also make a list what we need as far as supplies the less we have to take the better. I can't live off the land as most elfs do so fair warning don't expect me to go hunting. i want everything before we head out i don't want to have come back for something. With that he opens the door and heads off to the inn.

Barbatos gives his parting regards to his recent hosts and heads after Zem, who was paying for food and boarding after all.1

The three of us take a nice walk to the inn, when we get into the inn Zem looks for the owner or a person who they could rent room for the night. The sooner they pay the sooner they got their rooms. (i take it there is still a person behind the bar i can talk to? )

OOC: I've just posted an announcement on the Wizards forum asking for new players. We'll see if we get any nibbles (or a flood).
Moonhaven Inn is an overly large Inn, obviously built with the expectations of the village becoming much larger than it currently is. Because of this, the Inn has been mostly unused and unkempt these past few years and the wear and tear, dust, and occasional rat makes its disuse all the more obvious.
Arriving at lunch time, the group finds the innkeeper busy in the kitchen. With short black hair, an overly thick nose and a deep 'farmer's tan', he appears human. Only his slightly pointed ears and soft voice give way to any elven heritage he may have.
When they arrive the barmaid carrying 4 plates of food calls out, "Take a table and I'll come see what you want in a moment." The barmaid is a middle aged woman about six feet tall, somewhat overweight despite her strong build, knotty brown-red hair with a couple warts across her neck and face. Being probably the ugliest barmaid you have ever encountered you can only wonder if she has ogre blood in her and what brought her to such a career choice.

" thank you and please take your time we are not in a hurry " he sits in a place where it is most easiest for her to serve us, making less work for her. Yet he wants a place not near the windows and nearest to the exit so that if a bar fight goes down they don't have to stay long and run if need be. when he finds the spot he pulls out 3 chairs and then he sits.
also i would like to do a K( nature) roll on the bar maid [dice=20]+8 =17 [rand=41991787473671140873347290325909991980886738747367761868871748447]

Barbatos glances around, looking to see which food was going down well and what was pushed aside - tavern food could be a bit of a gamble, especially without copious amounts of ale to aid the taste, but it would make a nice change to the roast salted drake he'd been eating for the past week.[rand=27547118700722084994345957338486797188208411788027501305559133216]

After dealing with the other customers, the barmaid came over and announced, "We've got bean soup, smoked sardines and pickled eggs. To drink we've got Moonhaven Mead or Moonhaven Moonshine."

"Fish, and the mead"
Turning to Zem, "it's trail rations and water from here out, do you travel much?"[rand=1080088327710068147421861803551013115532748982365656973361012126821]

Knowing Harknail and that he didn't eat, the barmaid answered, "I'll let Paec know that you'll be needing rooms. I'll be right back with your fish and mead."
As she strolled away Zem concluded that she was human. If there was any ogre blood in her, it was at least 4 generations back (1/16 ogre at most).

Zem was fine that she had ogre blood, Ogers were not that bad just moody. If she was an Oni that would be bad, very bad. One had tried to kill him once. The "sweet old women" tried to kill him with a poison pie. He was able to bolt before she started using her true power but still scared the daylights out of him. hence why in his book of survival is " never trust others cooking. even if she looks like a sweet old lady" so rations it is until he dies, he does not say this aloud.

Barbatos catches Zem staring somewhat vacantly at the barmaid as she leaves. He shrugs, not his type but elves were odd like that.
"Do you plan on horses or do we travel by foot?"

I have walked for most my travels for my riding is not so great but walking takes a long while and haste is needed on this one. I think it best get them so we can get to places faster. That is one thing on my list to get after we rest.
ya his skill is +3

"I have never ridden a horse," admitted Harknail. Considering that he was a big heavy construct of steel plated stone, it would take a strong horse to carry the likes of him.

Well a small cart could maybe hold you and is not as expensive as a wagon would be. So i think the small cart would be effective and useful. It may get stuck in mud so we would have to be careful in parts.

"If only I could reignite the power of this stone" Barbatos mused wistfully, poking the large rock he'd been carrying around with him in a crude rope netting, "but the ritual eludes me and the books I possess are taking longer than expected to translate."
